My first order got lost in the mail and the company replaced it. AWESOME kit. Has everything you need to make cheese, including instructions. IF you are expecting large amounts of ingredients, you will be disappointed because you use very little of everything. What they sent is more than enough to make your cheese. IF you want to go pro and make "dump-loads" then invest in the ingredients to make huge batches. What is in the kit is perfect for home use and enjoyment. SO ENJOY.

I have read other reviews saying there isn’t much in the pack but you really only use the tiniest amount of the ingredients each use. - I have found it to be a great way to dive in to cheese making with just the right amount of ingredients and directions to get you going.

I purchased this kit so that I could get just the basic cultures and some liquid rennet. I was a little disappointed in the " curd bag" which was just a piece of cloth. And the thermometer is not very good quality. I had to purchase another one for my cheese making. On a positive note: the rennet and other cultures worked GREAT! Which was my purpose for buying this kit in the first place. I will restock my cultures as needed from this company. Very good products. And shipped quickly in a really nice box perfect for gift giving. Perfect for anyone beginning thier cheese making journey.

With a little practice and attention to detail, the skills needed are well within the capabilities of the average home cook. Bought as a gift for a mom and son duo of cooks and am looking forward to their reactions. One note of caution: I failed to notice that part of the kit includes non-vegetarian rennet, so am swaping that out. Otherwise, a wonderful set!
