I bought two of these for Christmas, one for my 6-year-old and one for my 8-year-old. Setup was a little annoying at first because you have to connect it through Garmin Connect before getting it into the Garmin Jr. app, but that’s a one-time thing. Once that step was out of the way, everything has been easy to manage. The watches work as advertised. My kids have used them in the pool several times and even in the shower with no issues at all. They like being able to change the watch screen whenever they want, and what really keeps them motivated is the little story mode inside the Garmin Jr. app. My wife also wears a Garmin, and my oldest loves competing with her for steps. The tracker definitely proves how many circles my child runs around us and there is no way we can keep up. They’ve been wearing them for about 8 months now, and the battery is still going strong. When it does run out, it takes a CR2025 coin cell battery, which is cheap and easy to replace. Honestly, I’m just glad I don’t have to charge these things every night. A couple of notes: this only connects via Bluetooth, so it’s not a live tracker like an AirTag or Tile, and there’s no “Find My” feature if it gets misplaced. For what it is, though, it does the job well and has held up to everyday kid use. Overall, I would recommend it as a fun and motivating fitness tracker for kids.

This watch is great. It’s so much fun for my daughter to use it. It encourages her to move and get her points for the day. The quality is great and the app is easy to use. The functionality is great. The only downfall of this product is the screen display is very dark, you just have to make tilt it the right way.

This watch is the best for my daughter with adhd and autism. I can set alarms for reminders throughout the day for getting ready for school, getting ready for gymnastics, getting ready for bed/brushing teeth, etc! You can earn tokens for doing chores as well. I also love the ICE contacts you can add, the motivation for movement, and the app you can play games and learn stretches and exercises as well although we use that the least. It’s water proof, lights up, and the battery lasts well over a year before needing replacement. Sometimes I find as the battery is older it loses time faster and I need to resync it every now and then. It lights up at night and can set wake up alarms too if needed. Great watch!

My toddler absolutely loves it. This is my second for my second kid and it is so helpful to track their activity and encourage them to get active.

My wife and I got these for our kids and the battery life, ease of use, and steps tracking is great. We wanted our kids to get active and receive rewards for it. We pay them for their choirs using the coins in the game and the reward is instant to our young ones. They also challenge each other on how many steps they got for the day. The account was easy to set up and quick for the kids to learn to use. My only gripe and this is me being picky. is that i can't track the watch via GPS. In the event, something happened to my kids. However that again is me being very picky. I would recommend this watch to anyone whos kids are 11 and under.

Great and durable for kids can wear everyday.

We loved this watch. I bought one for my 8 year old son and 5 year old daughter. They are great because they dont need charged and are waterproof. Today we were out exploring and my daughter came up almost crying because it was missing out of her watch. She took really good care of it and never took it off. It really sucks because we paid $80 for a watch that just fell out. She is so sad now.

I bought two of these watches one for each of my daughters and they love them and wear them constantly. Now that we are a few months on the watch face of my older daughter watch has begun to just fall out of the band on its own while she's playing. She hasnt been toying with it at all and now she is so worried about losing the face after a close call on the playground she is too afraid to wear it to school now which defeats the purpose of the watch completely. The band needs improvement but the tech itself is excellent.
