We absolutely love the Melissa & Doug Poke-A-Dot Books and honestly can’t recommend them enough. I have multiple toddlers in my home and every single one who comes over is immediately drawn to these books — they all want to pop the dots and “read” along. Why we love them: • The pop-and-click dots are incredibly satisfying and keep little hands busy. • They hold toddlers’ attention far longer than regular board books. • The pages are sturdy, colorful, and easy for little ones to turn. • They encourage counting, colors, and early learning while still feeling like play. Real-life use: I have these out daily and they’re always the first books kids grab. These are so fun! My daughter loved these when she was a little younger and now she still likes to pull it out for a sense of nostalgia and for the fun of pushing all the buttons. I got one as a gift for a toddler bday party recently.

This book is enjoyed by my grandbabies. They love the popping sound and counting all the animals.

Good quality and durable for babies into their toddler years. Not only learn to read but it is interactive with the bubbles to pop. Pages are thick and do not bend. Perfect for learning.

This book creates so much fun for toddlers. This kept them quiet on their first flight. Warning the book is heavy but it's sturdy. I'm excited to see what other books and activities they have

Giving this item a 4/5 because some of the inner board pages have detached from the spine, I purchased this in November of 2024. It is a heavy book and we use it frequently so maybe that’s on us. Other than that this is a fantastics purchase and I would still buy again. Such a fun and educational book. We’ve used this for counting numbers, naming animals and the sounds they make, and identifying objects within each page. Got this for my son right after he turned one and it has been a huge hit ever since.

My little one is obsessed with these Poke-A-Dot books. They are her absolute favorites! I will say these books are extremely heavy for the young kids. It’s definitely weighted for like bigger kids. With all that said, we own all of them! Great fun, very entertain and helps them learn!!

Help your child with the book especially if they are younger as it’s really heavy. My 17 month old enjoyed popping the dots. Hopefully when he’s older, he can use it to learn counting or simply enjoy the story.

This is my daughter’s favourite by far, she got it when she was 15 months and absolutely loves it. She plays with the book by herself and we read and sing together as well as count the animals. I bet this will be one of those very long lasting toys!

Great book!! I’m sure my baby will love it. Some of the poppers don’t work properly but that’s not a big issue as they are mostly fine! Would definitely recommend it.
