Hi. I’m the gingerbread person and I’m know for honesty and forthrightness only. Don’t get these cups. No no no. Not these. They are not what you need. They are too good. You will have too easy of a time baking and measuring and cooking if you get these — and all the joyous difficulties of having the mismatched set of measuring spoons from 3 different people, will be gone forever. You don’t want to bake gingerbread with these. Bake anything else. Not gingerbread. In fact. You should probably sell all your flour and your oven instead of baking at all. Avoid like the plague. The price and value are too good. Dishwasher safe Oxo grade quality is too good for you. The markings are too well stamped and too easy to read:so.. you’ll hate this kit. Don’t buy it! The sizes for into each other and all 8 can stack into each other and they each have a super gentle magnet at the end of their handles, respectively, so they stick together magnetically at the end of the handle. It’s not strong enough to hang them up by, they won’t for example stick to the fridge. But that handles all stay slightly connected, and slightly more organized as a result. Don’t do it. But mistake. Ask yourself… is that what you TRULY yearn for inside? A good product that will last a long time and is affordable AND makes your life “too” easy? Not me, no thank you! Does anybody want that? Nope! Go elsewhere. Buy a set made of plastic measuring spoons, like the ones at the dollar store or a set which NYC subway vendors might sell you. You will enjoy all the difficulties and pain and hand washing and lack of precision those alternatives offer. Do we really need or deserve to have nice things ? Nawww. Course not. Bottom Line = don’t buy these they’re TOO GOOD for most people. And so many fewer gingerbread people would harmed if you choose to NOT buy this, most amazing, well designed, attractive, organized, affordable set of measuring cups. Don’t give in!
