A little over two and a half minutes. Be sure to stop winding when you feel resistance on the key.

Not machine washable. Also the wind up key is large and easily accessible so my year old grand child was able to turn it and the winder broke within 3 months. Otherwise it was adorable and soft but we threw it away as the winder wasn’t safe anymore.
