We have repaired two chairs with this. This stuff is amazing. The first one we tried it on was a dentist chair. He was going to buy a replacement cover because the leather was cracking. We tried this over a year ago. Still looks great and to cracks. So we used it on two smaller chairs to over a cracking surface on what was other wise a solid chair. Looks great. We are going to re-surface a set of dining room chairs soon. I expect the same result.

Product worked better than expected because I forgot to do something…. Tip 1: Product says to sand down or scrape the old material. I forgot and started applying it. However, I noticed that adhesion to the previous material was AMAZINGLY strong, but to the fabric under the old material, it did not stick at all. So, I kept going anyway. I have a few bumps from where you can see I didn’t scrape the stuff off. So on my second chair, I just pulled off pieces that were peeling so the surface was smoother, but still did not scrape everything off. Second chair worked great! Tip 2: with the backing on it, I measured and cut. Then as I was applying I realized that the material was actually a little stretchy, which is super great because I could get a nice fit. So, leave a little room when you measure to allow for stretching. Not a lot, but maybe 1/2 inch. Tip 3: A second person is helpful when applying a large strip. Haha. Unless you want to be like me and get you hair stuck on the adhesion and drop and restick the sticky side…. So yeah. I figured it out, but it is a two person job. Side notes: It smelled like a new product. Nothing crazy though. And I am sensitive to smells. So maybe some come stronger scented than others, but I think faux leather stinks in general. I have whiter chairs than the color offered, but I ultimately decided I didn’t care that much because I have kids at home anyway. It ended up matching pretty good! So if you have white-white fabric, this is very much beige. The only edges not staying down as well are areas where the original faux fabric had peeled away and the adhesion didn’t stick as well to the cushion under the old fabric. So, there you have it.

Worked great for the repair I needed. Quick and easy fix. I sprayed area of repair with an adhesive and let set for a couple minutes , then applied material. Time will tell how long it will last. So far working great.

Perfect color. Easy to patch , I saw some reviews complaining about stickiness. First it has to warm up to room temperature or above. Second, it’s not designed to go over porous fabric. A part of my damage was gone all the way to fabric. Only in that part I used fabric glue. The rest stick just fine

I purchased this to repair the bottom fabric of my couch that my cats had torn apart. I had no issue with initial adhesion, applying the fabric, or cutting out pieces to cover the torn area (and it was a large area, I purchased the 17x79" roll). However, the following morning, and once the couch was turned back up, I discovered the pieces falling off the area that I had placed them. Potentially, there is a difference of fabrications, which is why it did not adhere, but in the end I took out the handy dandy hot glue gun, and applied it along the edges of the fabric to get it set in place again. I don't know if you could take a hair dryer to heat up the glue to adhere better? But either way, the adhesion was not great. The quality of the product as far as its fabric was great, it's thick and has a smooth hand feel, not easily torn.

I wasn't sure about how this product would work. After receiving it and applying it to my favorite chair I can say the quality is worth it! The appearance looks nature and fit perfectlly. It saved my dad's chair!

Item is trash. I used it to cover the entire arm of a leatherette chair arm, and it started peeling within 24 hours. In other words, its glue is terrible and has no sticking. It "looks" okay, kind of like fake leather, but I wasn't expecting leather anyway. But around curves, it's terrible on the eyes and peeled off immediately. It did not even meet the low expectations I had set for it! Therefore, unless you're sticking it somewhere completely flat, I'd stay away. Me personally? I'd stay away from this product altogether. Complete waste of time AND money!

Got these two repair our hot tub cover that the black bear seem to like to tear up the fabric stays on and makes the repair possible even through weather
