Works for 2016 Yamaha R1
Comes in a Yamaha plastic packaging so it seems like a genuine Yamaha key blank. It works well for my 2016 Yamaha R1 and it slides in and out easily, unlike other key blanks I've bought in the past.

Good as OEM
Used this on a 2024 Tracer 9 GT+ and worked flawlessly. There is no immobilizer in the North American version of the bike (as you can tell by the size of the key) so just get it cut to size and it should work fine.

work on Yamaha 2023 FJR
Works great on 2023 Yamaha FJR. You will need to have a lock smith to cut the key.

Good for a spare key
This key is lighter material than my original Yamaha key (07 v star 1100) but it cut okay and works on the bike. I just wouldn't want it for a daily key. Price seemed high as well. None the less, I am happy to have a spare now.
