Why does this refer to a "northern elephant sea lion"? is this a different species than an elephant seal or does this poster contain an error?

Hello, the northern elephant seal is one of the two species of elephant seal, its range is the American Pacific coast from Baja all the way up to Alaska. The southern elephant seal is found in the Antarctic.

Are the whales, dolphins, and porpoises shown to scale?

They're not perfectly to scale. They are as close as possible to scale to show bigger or smaller sizes, but the scale is skewed to allow for everything to fit in a coherent visually pleasing way so it will not work for scientific reference for scale.
