Just what I was looking for. A thin gel that provides great hold. You do not need to use much to get a good cast. Soft, defined curls.

I used to love the old Devacurl Arc Angel gel (before the reformulation that removed all the protein). I’ve struggled so much to find a replacement that would actually hold my curls and give them definition for years since. The ones that had really powerful hold (LA Looks, Garnier, Not Your Mothers, Ouidad) had no proteins or amino acids that would help give definition to my curls. So I’d have hold, but loose and limp waves where I should have curls. Or I’d find one with protein but the hold would be abysmal and I’d end up refreshing my curls every morning instead of being able to go 3 days without needing to. I have fine hair, I need those proteins for my curl pattern to hold itself together otherwise as soon as the cast is broken they just fall apart. This gel is exactly what I was looking for. Protein galore in the entire line, but the gel is the perfect combo of strong hold and hella protein for my hair. It’s got a slimy texture almost that makes it a breeze to work through the hair and ensure every curl is covered and you can feel it forming a cast as I scrunch it in. It’s still workable while damp, but it’s really cool to feel it settling into curls as you go. The gel cast breaks easily whether you use bare hands or a little oil to break it up and despite it being a strong hold, it doesn’t leave your hair crunchy unless you apply way too much. Start small with this gel though, since you can feel that cast starting to form when you’re first applying, let that tell you to add more or not. I easily get 3 days of good curls with this gel before needing to refresh. If my hair wasn’t short right now, I could probably go longer if I wanted to. It locks your curls into shape and keeps them there.

First, this line is "curly girl" approved with no sulfates, silicones, parabens, etc. I really love the smell and how it makes my curls soft, yet somewhat defined. I'm always searching for the perfect gel to define and protect my curls, yet not dry them completely out. This gel is a "soft to medium" hold level, but does seems tad drying the next day. I have bought the shampoo and conditioner to try out as well. If you are searching for the perfect line for your curls, give it a try.

I have wavy hair and I love the Briogio curl styling creme, but the curl gel is sooo sticky and crunchy! I've used lots of curl gels and this is the worst one! All the others I have used after I completely wet me hair, I'll rub in the curl creme and gel, scrunch, and wait for my hair to dry and form a cast and then proceed to shake it out by running my fingers through. It's light and flows holding the curl with no stickiness or crunchiness. But this one was a crunchy, sticky, frizzy mess! I was disappointed because I wanted to find a good curl gel I could buy from Amazon. I recommend Flora & Curl for curl gel, its the best I've tried so far but you can't get it at Amazon sadly. I prefer the Briogio Curl creme to the Flora & Curl curl creme though.

If your hair needs lightweight products this is the one!!

I have fine curly 3A-B hair. I really thought that this would be THE perfect product. It is crunchy though. Because it’s a gel, it forms and holds the curls well, but you can’t get any volume because it’s sooo crunchy and a bit shellacked. If you want hold md volume and you have fine curly hair my current go to is Verb gel mousse.

Para una persona que tiene mucho pelo eso no le durará mucho, entonces no trae tanto para lo que cuesta pero el producto es súper bueno, el gel tiene una fijación bastante potente y la crema también es muy buena la combinación es 10/10 si trajera más fuera 20/10

Perfetta la tenuta, non unge e non crea l'effetto bagnato. I capelli restano comunque morbidi al tatto e la piega dura molto più a lungo. Da ricomprare!

Dried my fine 3b caucasion naturally grey hair. I had to get the ends cut off, finally threw it away half-full. Doesn't even mix well with my other "natural" products.
