I didn't get stretch marks, pretty interesting!
I got this product after hearing the co-founder on the podcast Pregtastic. He explained that three of the ingredients in this product had some scientific basis in reducing stretch marks or the extent of them and I was pretty compelled by his explanation of each of those components. So I gave this a go! Now, my mom had stretch marks pretty badly with her kids every time. They say that genetics is a big factor and that if your mom gets stretch marks, you are likely to. So I was really expecting to see them leading up to my due date. I ended up delivering my baby just a few days before my due date and- to my surprise- ended up without a single stretch mark. I was so doubtful of this product that I kept looking for any sign of marks. I really didn't expect to finish my pregnancy without them, and in this weird way, I kind of feel a little bit sad I didn't get just one as a pregnancy token. I really can't say for certain that this oil "prevented" stretch marks, but it was nice to use and I'm sure it didn't hurt. Now onto the oil itself- it smells wonderful and felt great to rub on my belly and hips as part of my nightly routine. As I rubbed it on I felt like I was giving myself and my baby a soothing massage. I didn't ever have dry belly skin so can't comment on whether it helps with that, but I bet it would- it's an oil so it locks in moisture. I used 1-2 pumps starting in month 2 of my pregnancy, and had to increase to 3 by the end. I ran out at about the 7 month mark and decided to go ahead and get the second bottle and use super liberally through the rest of the pregnancy. I ultimately used about 1 1/2 bottles. If I was disappointed with anything, it's the price- it's a very expensive product. That said, I liked using it and it was my treat to myself throughout the pregnancy. And hey, no stretch marks. Again, not sure if that is really because of the product or because of my luck (I had an amaaaaaazing pregnancy and birth).

Postpartum update - no stretch marks!
I have stretch marks on my hips/legs from growth spurts while I was growing up - so I would say I'm naturally more prone to stretch marks. This is my first pregnancy, and so far, I have been using Belli oil since around week 18 of my pregnancy up to this point, and I am currently 35 weeks. I currently have no signs of stretch marks. I use the oil only once a day - every night before bed, and it has a relaxing lavender scent that I personally enjoy. I use a moisturizing cream every morning to prevent the getting oil on my clothes. The oil has also helped to prevent itch as my belly stretches, I have noticed if I have a particularly itchy day, I can use a small amount of the oil on the itchy location, and it goes away almost immediately. I use about 1 bottle per month, but it's getting closer to needing a new one every 3 weeks as I get to the end of my pregnancy. I will update this review post-birth to confirm if it works for the last 5 weeks of pregnancy! Editing one month postpartum: I used this oil up through my delivery date with no stretch marks! I applied it to my breasts, stomach, hips, and upper thighs. As soon as I gave birth, I was instructed by nurses and lactation consultant’s not to use scented products on my skin so that my baby would learn my natural scent for bonding. So I stopped using this oil, and as soon as my milk came in I got stretch marks on my breasts. I said in my original review that I am prone to stretch marks, and this just proves that the oil is what prevented me from getting stretch marks all over my body throughout my pregnancy, and as soon as I stop using it I got them. I’m sad that I didn’t continue to use it after I gave birth while breast-feeding, otherwise I would have zero stretch marks... so be that a lesson to all of you expectant mothers!

NOT A SINGLE STRETCH MARK. THIS STUFF WORKS.
Every article I read online stated that there is no magic product that prevents stretch marks in people who are genetically predisposed to getting them. Stretch marks run in my family but I decided to take a chance and buy this oil anyway. Well, I’m glad I did, because it is a MIRACLE PRODUCT. I used this on my belly throughout my pregnancy and did not get a single stretch mark there! I know this is a result of this product alone, because I got stretch marks all over other parts of my body where I didn’t apply the oil (I was too lazy to apply it anywhere else but my belly). I applied the product once a day on most days, but there were definitely lots of days when I forgot to apply it at all, and it still worked. During delivery and at my postpartum check-ups, the nurses and doctors commented on how I didn’t have a single stretch mark. It’s 100% because of this oil. Aside from these unbelievable results, the oil smells fantastic. The lavender scent is so relaxing and I loved applying it to my belly before bed, after showers, and whenever my belly felt itchy as it grew. I never write reviews, but felt compelled to write this to encourage other pregnant women who are worried about stretch marks to buy this product! It really works and I am so relieved I found it!

Smells good and feels good!!
Love this oil! It smells great and it’s not too oily on my skin. I use it morning and night and it really has helped with the hydration on my growing belly! You probably need 2 bottles to last through your pregnancy, but I like to apply generously! I used this through my 2nd pregnancy with no stretch marks and now on my 3rd with none so far! That does also really depend on genetics and hydration, so momma don’t feel like “no stretch marks” is something you have to obtain. Your body and skin are amazing regardless. This oil really does help in my opinion though! The bottle was bigger than I thought and fast shipping. Love this product!

Worked well for me
I started using this product when I got pregnant after doing significant research on the best products for stretch mark reduction. This one seemed to come highly rated, so I tried it along with a few other oils. Honestly, the biggest perk of this oil was the smell - the lavender scent is nice and light, not offensive to my overly sensitive nose during my first trimester. The best oil on the market isn't going to do you any good if the smell is so cloying and nauseating that you can't even use it. Having said that, I also found that this oil sank in nicely and felt like it actually penetrated my skin, instead of sitting on top. It was comfortable to use after my morning shower and didn't leave grease stains in my clothes, making it a great daytime moisturizer for my expanding belly. I alternated it with Burt's Bees Belly Butter, which I used only at night because it was so thick and greasy that it left oil slicks all over my pjs and sheets (so not optimal for daytime use!) When all was said and done, I got two tiny, almost imperceptible stretch marks in week 38 of my pregnancy. Considering the number of stretch marks my mother had from her pregnancies and the number of stretch marks I have on my butt from a growth spurt as a teenager, I consider that evidence enough that the product worked, and I would use it again in another pregnancy. I only used it once a day, after my shower, which is less than the recommended usage, and needed one bottle per trimester; used as directed, I could see a bottle lasting a month. For anyone considering this product to help prevent stretch marks, I would be remiss if I said I used this as my sole weapon. I also exercised throughout my pregnancy, ate a mostly healthy diet (although first trimester was really rough, not gonna lie about too many salty foods during that time!), and drank a gallon of water a day. I think that helped minimize my tendency toward stretch marks, but this was really the icing on the cake. It left my skin so deeply hydrated in a way I didn't realize until after my baby was born and I stopped using it. I immediately noticed a difference in how supple my skin was. I would highly recommend this product in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise routine. I knocked off one star because the price makes it difficult to use as directed and can be unreasonable for some people.

It works!! 8 months PP
The skin on my belly looks EXACTLY the same as it did pre-pregnancy. I am truly amazed. My grandma got very bad stretch marks and loose skin post pregnancy, my mum had very bad stretch marks. I knew I was guaranteed to have the same fate. Even though I had accepted my fate I thought I would at least try to look after the skin whilst it was stretching. I’d like to admit that I’m not entirely sure exactly what worked - the oil or the combination of things I did in addition to the oil. But below is exactly what I did. 1/ Buy this oil. It’s amazing. It smells like lavender and it’s super relaxing especially at night. It was like a little ritual applying it in the evening. 2/ Apply oil twice a day every single goddamit day of your pregnancy. Morning and night. 3/ *try* to get in the best shape of your life pre-pregnancy. 4/ Stay hydrated as you possible can. As soon as I felt my belly getting itchy I would smoother the oil and chug 32oz of water. 5/ NEVER let your belly see sunlight the entire pregnancy. This was really hard as I was pregnant the whole summer. UV breaks down collagen. Collagen helps with elasticity. I hope this helps somebody as I was somebody who read all the review religiously!

Lucky I found this stuff
Started using this oil in the 1st trimester and am approaching my due date this week with out a single stretch mark throughout this whole pregnancy. Love the formula, leaves my skin feeling healthy and absorbs fairly quickly. There is a bit of a mild lavender scent that I could see being a turn off to some but it doesn’t last long and is worth putting up with considering the benefits. I started to run low and ordered another but I’m still getting good use out of the first bottle so I think one could have gotten me thru this whole pregnancy. I use this on my belly daily and occasionally on my breasts hips and thighs also and will probably continue to use this oil long after pregnancy is over.

It feels nice (Thick Oil) but the Smell makes me sick
I was excited to try this new product but when I first put it on it smells like fish oil and vitamins which I found particularly displeasure. My husband says he likes it and that the smell isn't bad so maybe it's just my "morning" sickness palette?
