Holds its shape and you can adjust the distance between the pillows. You can also separate them and just use one if you want. It supports my belly when I lay on my side or allows me to lean toward my back without fully laying on my back.I’ve also found that I like it for laying on my back propped up on pillows. I’ll stack two regular pillows at an angle and then put this one in front of them flat on the bed. Then I sit so the small pillows are on either side of my hips and lean back into the regular pillows. It feels more stable and helps me keep from slipping further down onto the bed.The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t come with a cover; you unzip it and inside is all the pillow fluff - no extra layer. I wish it had a cover that I could easily take off and wash. I also wish it was more aesthetically pleasing. The bright green design isn’t the nicest looking. I was very close to buying another brand that had a nice gray cover, and only went with this one because it had a lot more reviews and I wanted to lower my risk of having to return.

Slept better than before- easily could roll from side to side without needing to rearrange. Definitely better than using random pillows and better than that enormous C shape one.
