Great for my grinder
Really happy with this. Replaced my old wheel.

Great balance. No bench vibration. Old wheels would vibrate everything on the bench.
Balance of wheel. Smooth and takes forever to stop after shutting off grinder. 👍👍

Balanced but Damaged
The grinding wheel arrived quickly and was close to balanced upon installing on my 8 inch grinder. However, I had to cut back about 1/2 inch of the wheel due to damage in shipping. Now my 8 inch grinding wheel is 12.5% smaller without even grinding anything yet. Seems like a quality wheel with uniform density but losing that much of the wheel to damage really stinks.

Very satisfied
Removed the old wheel and cleaned up the arbor with emory. Used a dial indicator and measured 0.002" runout on the shaft. Installed Powertec 8" #60 grit wheel with 5/8" center hole. Rotated slowly by hand and saw no obvious runout. Powered up, no unusual vibration, and touched lightly with diamond dresser. Wrapped wheel with a single layer of smooth tape (to protect indicator) and clamped indicator to tool rest. Measured 0.004" over the 360 degree perimeter. Very good and close enough for anything a human hand can do with a bench grinder. Made a few test grinds against some scrap steel angle. Wheel performs exactly as it should.

Very Soft
Very, Very, Very Soft. Great for sharpening, Do not recommend if you are taking off any "larger" amounts of metal. Going to get something harder next time.

No bushings and straight wheel
I've only brought one of these wheels and it was extremely straight. None of those stupid plastic bushings in the middle, it's all stone. Good so far. I bought 60 grit to sharpen lawn mower blades on a daily basis. It puts a pretty sharp blade on, but it's easy to burn the metal and the stone maybe wearing away quickly. I've only used it for a week. Next time I may go to the course wheel which is I think 36 grit. Overall, I like the brand, the price, and especially the straight wheel with no bushings. Even the selection of grit is pretty cool, but I may have got it wrong.

Garbage
To be clear this review is for the 8 inch 60 girt grinding wheel and not the dressing tool. There seems to be a mixing of reviews between the two. Disintegrates at normal use. I only sharpened one basic mower blade and the 8 inch wheel became a 7 1/2 inch wheel. Completely useless, unless you like grit flying all over the place.
