I was looking for a singing bowl to add to my Music box for nanny job. I looked For a really long time. This is really good. I could make it sing after 2-3 times. As i said in title i was afraid there would be sharp edges, but there is actually a rim at the edge. The whole thing pillow and all will only fit back in box if you shove the pillow i side the bowl, but thats ok. The bowl itself is hammered brass on outside and a nice embossed buddah is inside. Looking forward to trying with kids.

I bought this as a gift for my mother. She was thrilled! It's her first singing bowl, and I was impressed with the packaging & presentation. I know more expensive bowls are available, but this fit the bill for her first bowl. I tried it out, and it does make a lovely sound. I just wish it had some with some sort of instruction, as I wasn't sure which end of the stick to use for tapping the bowl (short gong-like ring) and for tracing around the bowl (longer, louder vibrating "singing"). It took me about 10 minutes of practice tracing around the rim of the bowl to get it to sing nicely.

It's a little heavier/chunkier than I expected, but it has a very clear & resonating tone that continues much longer than I thought it would, given its size. I bought a much larger bowl while I was traveling in India that is very special, but this one surprised me by its sound quality, considering how affordable it was. The long tassels on the pillow are silly and I cut them off immediately. Otherwise, it is perfect for the price. Very helpful that it comes with a nice box for transporting places, since I bought it to use in my classes, so I need to schlep it around a lot. Totally recommend.

Pleasantly surprised! It's a very nice size bowl. Watched 2 YouTube videos on techniques for playing the singing bowl! Was quicly able to find this bowls voice! Very loud, strong & powerful! I was surprised how quick I was able to get it to sing too! It's such a beautiful piece & like another person said, glad it picked me. I Love it!!

I like that it works but the high pitch is a little much for me! It's a nice peice forsure!

This is a beautiful piece. The tone is clean and full. When resting on the included pillow (not a ring shape like some others which hinder the sound), I can get the sound so loud it resonates through my entire body (and I'm not a little guy either). My relaxation reflex is triggered quickly with this bowl. The craftsmanship is top notch. This bowl is well made, and the nice pillow and mallet compliment it perfectly. If you're new to singing bowls this is a great one to start with.

Love this bowl it is a gift for my beloved but now I think I'm going to order a couple more as gifts as well. It has such a beautiful sound. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the mallet looked used/worn and was peeling☹️ Otherwise it's a beautiful piece with and even more beautiful sound!
