3D printer lead screws awesomeness!
I bought these to clean 3D printer lead screws. These work great!!! I used to use paper towels and try to wipe the old grease off. I would try to push them into the screw and then feed the build plate up and down. Now that I have these cleaning ropes, I can see now that my old method was a complete joke! Just do one full wrap around and pull back and forth and you go down the screw (very easy, effective, and fast). The screws are way cleaner in less than half the time. FYI, one rope for all 3 lead screws seems good, so that was about 50 cents and well worth it. I will recommend these to everyone I know that has a 3D printer.
