I wanted to write a positive review for this product, but first I want to explain my opinion on some of the negative reviews. I've owned the same vacuum in the past and remember having always loved it. At one point in the past my girlfriend and I were moving in together and we didn't need two vacuums. Her vacuum was brand new and still in the box; so she talked me into giving away my Wind Tunnel away. Her vacuum was a piece of crap. We used it for a year and I always wanted my old Wind Tunnel back. Eventually I decided to get a new one and before purchasing it I started reading the reviews. This nearly caused me not to purchase the vacuum. Well I did get a new one and I have been using my new Wind Tunnel for nearly 6 months. It is perfect. It has the power to suck steel BB's out of carpet and clean up pet hair like no other vacuum. With that said I want to comment on some of the negative reviews. Keep in mind there are stupid people in the world; after reading my review you might think I am one of them. In a few reviews people complain the vacuum has too much power complaining it seals its to the floor and they cannot move it. This is simply stupid! There is an adjustment to set the level they simply are not using. That review reminds me of a story my son told me about one of their car customers. The story; a woman bought a standard shift vehicle with the deciding factors being the lower purchase price and the better gas mileage. After driving the car over a year she complained the car was sluggish during pick-up and had a low top speed; she was actually pissed at the performance of the vehicle. When the mechanics examined the car, the transmission was burnt out. When they discussed the issue with her they came to learn the woman didn't know how to drive a standard. She also didn't want to learn; so she decided to just keep the car in 3rd gear. She never shifted the car, destroyed the transmission and blamed the performance on the vehicle. This is the same stupidity some of these reviewers are experiencing. The Wind Tunnel is a real powerful vacuum. On the hardwood floor setting my vacuum works great on hardwood, but it will suck carpet and linoleum flooring to its frame making it hard to push. placing the level setting up a notch or two fixes this problem. Overall this is a great vacuum!

Powerful suction! Great carpet cleaner! Easy to assemble and use! Great on medium pile carpet and bare floor! Hose works very well, however, cannot use the full length of hose while suction is on. This is due to hose contracting while powerful air suction is at work. Weight of product is slightly on the heavy side, but still has very good mobility when turned on. Cord can be in the way while vacuum is in use, however, to remedy this, there is a small plastic piece just above the bottom hook that holds the hose. Place the cord between the small plastic piece and bottom hook to achieve a comfortable experience while vacuuming. If this is the true function of the small plastic piece, then it should be mentioned in the owner's manual. I had to figure this out on my own after constantly being interrupted with the cord. Before I purchased this vacuum I saw that there were some negative reviews regarding the cord, however, I believe this can truly solve that problem. I really believe that Hoover should add these small details regarding the small plastic piece in the manual if it exists for the reason that I think it does. It would have probably avoided any negative remarks on the cord. All in all, I am very happy with this vacuum!

This is a Great vacuum on so many levels. It sucks.....up anything in its path. The suction is phenomenal ! Pet hair is no problem and the power head attachment for the hose works great ( kudos to the design team on this one.) The problems with this are annoyances. The attachments don't stay where they're suppose to go. The brush attachment is too large to fit under low furniture although I do like the soft bristles of the brush. The floor setting guide is a waste. When I set the dial for bare floors; you can't move it. (Do not use this vacuum on a press and stick tiled surface as it sucks the tiles up) I guess I will get use to it soon. All in all it is one powerful machine and I would recommend for anyone who has pets..or kids. Update on this machine 3/19/2017...Purchased this machine in December of 2016 and loved it. The love affair is still going strong today. I loved this vacuum so much that I bought one for my daughter who has two large shedding dogs. She used hers the first time and called me to say how much more debris it picked up than her Dyson. Update 6/15/2017 Just when the marriage is going great...The handle broke on my Hoover while I was using it.....Five year warranty....no problem..RIGHT ? Wrong. I called Hoover and they told me to take it to a repair place about nine miles from where I live. Got here and the place no longer existed. (an hour wasted.) Called Hoover again and they gave me the same location. I told them they were no longer in business. They gave me another service pace nine miles further away than the last place. They don't service Hoovers anymore because they ( Hoover) has lousy customer service. The owner said he would have to wait more than a month for a part to come in. REALLY !!?? Well,,,,I have to call again to Hoover....This time I will call before I go to make sure they repair the machines. I will keep you posted.

le doy todas las estrellas por que es un producto muy completo, cuenta con muchos accesorios para realizar todo tipo de limpieza, y su uso es muy simple, ademas de que es muy resiste pues ya en mas de 1 ocación lo eh golpeado accidentalmente, ademas cuenta con iluminación propia y es de fácil limpieza, y el precio es excelente, recomendado para las amas de casas que cuentan con tapicería tanto en casa como en automoviles

This vacuum cleaner really impressed me. I recently moved into a house with carpeting in almost every room and was in need of a powerful machine because the one I had was only for normal floors. The picture of the full refill was only 5 minutes of use on the carpet, which looked ok. I decided to test it also on the outside carpet because it is harder to see if it would cause any damage. It cleaned well, and the carpet looked like new. The same thing happened to the kitchen carpet, which was very clean. Here at home, we have two types of carpets, the thinner and the thicker ones, and it cleaned them both very well. I will not deny that the product is noisy and heavy, but the result is worth it.

Excelente aspiradora, el poder de succión es muy bueno. Viene con muchos accesorios, remueve fácilmente el pelo de las mascotas. El tubo es elástico y alcanza un gran tamaño. Sin duda todo el producto es premium.

The Hoover Windtunnel is a very powerful vacuum. My last one Hoover was a Windtunnel as well and the new one is almost identical. I have several Hoover vacuums in my home and they last. I stand behind Hoover. I've tried other brands, they don't survive like the Hoover. The switch broke on my old Windtunnel and I replaced. It's now operational once again. Ocassionally, I will take it apart to wash out the really fine dust it collects. Very easy to put back together with no problems. You won't go wrong purchasing this vacuum. A very satisfied customer!

Excelente calidad. Muy completa, la cantidad de accesorios que incluye te permite trabajar en una amplia variedad de superficies y lugares (pisos, alfombras, persianas/cortinas, muebles, automóviles). Te da opción de usarla como barredora o aspiradora, la barredora puede ser ajustada a diferentes niveles dependiendo el piso o altura del tapete/alfombra. La adquirí a un excelente precio y llego en muy buenas condiciones. El inconveniente es su tamaño y peso, no es fácil transportarla entre los diferentes niveles de una casa y ocupa mucho espacio.
