Ordering, delivery and customer support went well. Had an issue with the lock (battery holder was missing) and one of the shelves (covering not attached in places) which was quickly resolved by the vendor sending me a replacement part and handy use of a glue gun. Moved it in (needed help & a commercial dolly), bolted it down and filled her up. As previously reviewed, this safe appears to be a great deal when comparing to safes of similar build and specs; substantially & verified. Someone told me that an axiom for safes is that you'll always wish it was bigger. I think this is true, but for the enclosed space I placed it's in, this was a big as I could go. So far so good. It looks & functions good and hopefully will never have to endure an attack. A good safe is a good investment. There's a lot of crappy safes out there that are a joke for a burglar. This one appears to be the real deal.

This is a well built safe but has a minor flaw. The door has a flaw which is a about quarter inch of play when locked which may compromise its security at defeating a pry bar.

Steelwater Safes doesn't support it's products & for incomprehensible reasons,misrepresents the content of my communications asking for support as being profane,manufacturing an excuse not only to not provide support but also for being extremely rude,condescending & ultimately hanging up on me every time I called & tried to be heard.The Steelwater keypads fail when the batteries run out. twice this has happened to me.The 1st time they arranged for a lcoksmith to change it.It worked until Dec.2024 when the battery ran out again.The lights came on but the keypad didn't work.So I changed the battery,which is the recommended step when this happens and the battery has been in for a long time.But after changing it,the lights didn't even come on anymore.So i wrote them an Email CONTAINING NO PROFANITY,which was ignored.So i called for support & the above described "conversations" transpired.The company rep on the phone characterized my email as being profane & name calling,even read it back to me & hung up when I tried to respond. so I checked the email in my sent messages and it contains NONE of the Language the person claimed. My email was matter of fact,free of profanity,stated my problem,asked for help & was rejected as were all of my phone calls.

Steelwater does not stand behind their warranty as stated. Made me feel as though I created the problem. My safe arrived in a box and was bubble wrapped. The delivery guy took pictures of before it was opened and after. There was a large scratch one one side of it after removing the box. The driver stayed as requested, he found the scratch actually, took pictures and documented on my shipping paperwork. When I called Steelwater they wouldn’t do anything about it. Don’t buy from this company, there are much better to purchase from. They are also built in China!

Great safe! Only thing better would be if they had delivery into the house (I was well aware of this ordering it)! Great quality safe, easy to customize, got the biometric keypad which works instantly! Great communication from the seller! Highly recommend!
