Does it work if i play ps1 games on my ps2?

A common misconception is that incompatibility with PS1 games is due to the HDMI converter. The actual answer is that the TV doesn't like the signal it is getting. This is why it works on some televisions (like mine) and not for others like Saphie in this review thread. If you want to get even more technical about it, PS1 games can be either 480i or 240p. Most PS1 games are 240p and newer HDTVs don't know what to do with a signal like this and just show a blank image. The PS1 games that output 480i do work with televisions like this and should work with this adapter also. If the PS1 game you want to play doesn't work with this adapter, you should try a different TV.

Some say it works other say it doesn't, what the deal? Does it work on PS2 or not because it doesn't make sense that it works for some and not others.

Let me start by saying that I do have a PS2 and with the PS2 games it works good....but....my PS2 also plays PS1 games....trying to play a PS1 game doesn't work...at this time (I'm going to mess with settings and see if it'll work
