Does this support wqhd (3440 x 1440 @ 60 hz)? even at 30 hz will work if needed be.

Can this be used to connect a ps4 pro's hdmi 2.0 output at 3840x2160@60hz to dp 1.2 on an asus 4k monitor at 60hz?

Not in 4k. No converter works for that purpose yet. I had to upgrade my Monitor. Look for HDMI 2.0 on monitor. If your not sure, pass it up

Am i able to get 120hz with this product. my laptop (hdmi 2.0) to my benq xl2420t 120hz (displayport 1.2) so will it run 120hz on full hd 1920x1080?

so if i wanted to connect my hdmi only laptop to my displayport 144hz monitor this would work and get me 144hz? my monitor is LG 24gm77

It should work. I have a Lenovo Think Center desk top with a video card that outputs VGA and HDMI and a Lenovo Think Vision monitor that only accepts a Display Port input. I wanted the higher resolution of HDMI so I bought the StarTech converter. It works great. Just connect your laptop HDMI output to the converter HDMI input, connect the converter Display Port output to your monitor Display Port input and power up the converter and your in business!
