Absolute recommendation for low to medium volume! It CAN produce amazing bass for its size. This means: A) Perfect for low volume as background music e.g. for a relaxed evening. Gives nice bass without effort. For this, the out of the box flat equilizer settings are useless. You need to apply manual EQ settings and also activate the bass boost. Then it will shine. It can cover a 35 m2 garden easily. B) For medium volume you need to reduce the bass, it is too much. C) High volume: As with any speaker of this class, best avoid it. It will stress the hardware and you might not enjoy the sound.

My previous BT speaker was a JBL charge5. So in my believe only JBL can make a BT speaker sounds good. Well... The Soundcore proofs me wrong. What an impressive speaker. The sound is crisp and clear. The standard Eq-settings are ok. But when using the Eq and customer your sound the speaker outperform all BT speakers I had before (e.g. Bose and JBL) and tested. Great Bass, can get loud without distortion Cconnects with 2BT devices simultaneously. And oh yeah, the price is the absolutely RIGHT! In brief, my best buy in years!

I am reviewing this after using it for 6 months. When I bought I never used Anker brand before but now I can say it was in me of my best decisions. Pros: 1. Great sound quality 2. Best in class battery life 3. The handle makes it convenient and looks old school but I like this. 4. Bass quality is good and better in this class. Should not be compared with Bose SoundTouch 30 or higher powered JBL or sonos. Could be improved 1. Bluetooth range is good but a little more could be better. Definitely recommend this and I have not regretted the buy

Perfeita. Som limpo e sem chiadeira , mesmo no volume 100% e ainda sem comprometer o grave, muito pelo contrário. Estou usando ela a quase uma semana e só perdeu 20% da carga. Comprando ela você tem direito ao equalizador da soundcore. Caso você ache ela um pouco baixa sem personalização é só dá uma pesquisada num Equalizer no Youtube e testar um que mais te agrada. Não me arrependo nenhum pouco de ter escolhido ela ao invés de uma JBL, pois pra mim essa caixa é bem superior a qualquer outra da concorrência com a mesma proposta ( como exemplo, a Flip 6 e a Charge) e ainda foi bem mais barato.

Ignore the bad reviews. It’s as if they expect a Bluetooth speaker to sound better than a 7.1 home theatre system…give me a break. You have to compare this to other BT speakers to be fair. Out of the box this speaker is just ok (it’s mid-heavy and the highs are muted) BUT the magic is in the free APP. There is a fairly powerful EQ in the app that you can customize. I’ve played around with it a LOT over the past few weeks, and consider myself a bit of an audiophile, so I came up with what I think is the best EQ curve and I uploaded a screenshot (you’re welcome). It now sounds very full and satisfying. With that custom EQ and considering the price, this speaker is an incredible value! Also understand that you may have to tweak the EQ for low volume versus high volume. This is true for ANY sound system or device, the tonality changes as you increase/decrease the volume and it does not change proportionately. You may have to turn the bass down a bit at higher volumes to stop from distorting, you may also have to tweak the highs. Another thing is that this is highly directional due to its size (same is true for all BT speakers). You will hear a drastic change in volume AND clarity when the speaker is pointed directly at you (and at ear height) compared to if the speaker is pointed away from you. For best results use the custom EQ AND point the speaker at whatever position you are standing/sitting. This is basic knowledge for all sound devices but I feel like some people don’t get it. Battery life is insanely good. I used it for a small outdoor gathering 2 nights in a row without recharging and the battery was still showing a full charge on the app! Construction is very good, I’ve dropped it on my deck twice and didn’t even scratch it. Bluetooth connects easily with my iPhone. CONS: The charging cable is quite short (2 feet) and it’s a USB cable but no block so you have to have a block or some other USB charging port to plug into. Not a deal-breaker but its annoying. The other CON in my opinion is that it lacks a aux input. I think every sound device should have an aux input for legacy devices just in case, it wouldn’t have added much to the cost.
