Nathan James Theo 5-Shelf Wood Ladder Bookcase with Metal Frame, Natural Brown/White

I love it!!! And its very easy to put together.

I am very happy with this table! It was a breeze to assemble, and the table top is a hefty wood which is beautifully finished. The whole table feels solid and high-quality. We just moved into a new apartment without much furniture, so please excuse the somewhat bare-looking interior, but I think this table fits right in and sets up beautifully for our future decorating efforts.

I’m so happy I decided to purchase this shelf. It was super easy to install by myself and it looks great. Including unpacking it, it took me roughly 20 mins to install each shelf. I also purchased the Nathan James desk to go alongside it. The shelves are not real wood but a laminated MDF which I don’t mind cause there still really sturdy. If you mount the shelf in a stud you will be fine but if not I don’t recommend using the screws and plugs they provide as there small and crappy. I personally used metal plugs and the shelf isn’t going anywhere. The price is pretty high for this product not to have real wood shelves but I totally recommend this product.

UPDATE: This company went out of their way to send us a bag of Kit Kats as a customer service gesture for our hassles so it reminded me to write an update! We've had this table for almost 4 months and it's held up well! WAY better than Ikea folks. I was recovering from a surgery so the table was covered with prescriptions, mail, food, snacks, etc. It still looks brand new! Ikea tables get scratched and dinged so easily. Anyway, I would HIGHLY recommend buying from this company if you're looking for budget-conscious, modern furniture. OLD REVIEW: The natural/ black coffee table is very well designed and looks beautiful and modern, but it's a budget buy as it is particle board w/ a quality veneer. Not sure it will hold up, but we shall see! 5 stars despite the first one that arriving with a chip in the veneer and having to wait for a replacement. I reached out to Nathan James directly and they got back to me a few days later and offered to send a replacement instead of going through amazon's return process. THANK YOU!

This product is 100% as described. For the cost, it is 5/5 for material, strength, aesthetics. If it were $500, I’d rate it a 3 star. But it wasn’t. Instructions were a 4/5. It could have been a little more detailed to make it faster. Bonus that it is written humorously, but also a little annoying since it wasn’t super clear. For one step the screws didn’t go all the way in to be effective. But I don’t care because it’s still very strong without that little piece. Total build time at a leisure style was 1.25 hr. It could have been a half hour with two people. It’s pretty simple. Tips: - at the end to install the doors it is helpful to have a second set of hands to hold the door. I didn’t want to wait and managed it by myself. - my doors had a 1/2” gap at the end. Which I was very unhappy about. After taking a break, I used the last page of instructions that give tips if the doors aren’t positioned nicely. They worked. Now my doors are perfect. So do use those tips for the doors. - if you have any other issues, contact customer service. I purchased a table from Nathan James a year ago. There was damage to one main piece. They took care of it quickly and professionally. And even sent a card in the mail to apologize for the inconvenience. I was impressed and appreciative for their commitment to customer service. So now when I shop for furniture, I look at their products first. I trust them to resolve issues, if any.
