Fruit of the Loom Men's Crew Neck Pocket T-Shirt 4-Pack

Bought these for my hubby to wear just as casual round-the-house tees. I got him the XL cos he is 6'3" and they fit him very well (he is quite lean) So far no issues with them at all, especially for the purpose bought (i.e. not to wear out fancy or anything). My only gripe is the colors we got. Various shades of green! Nothing like the multi-color pic.That was disappointing but again, for wearing casual it's not the end of the world. Nice to have a pocket in a t-shirt, and at $2.50 a piece, how can one complain too much?! UPDATE: Hubby likes these tee shirts so much, and says they are so comfy, he asked me to get him some more! So we have just received our second set of tees, and this time the colors were better, so I am upgrading this review from 4 stars to -----> 5 stars! Great quality, great fit, comfy and a total bargain - highly recommend to all!!

These shirts are so great but I did not get the red and blue ones. I actually ordered these twice because they look so nice on my husband but so disappointed we did not get the red and blue ones.

Soft & comfortable

I recently purchased this "Four Pack" of Men's Sized Medium T-Shirts (with pockets) by "Fruit of the Loom" and (for the most part) they seem to be very nice Shirts! The only thing that I had noticed is that these T-Shirts seem to be a little bit "longer" at the waist then I had expected them to be. Meaning that, on me at least, these Shirts come to an end a little bit lower.. going down a bit further past my waist than many of the Shirts that I normally wear. But then, I guess this is not really a big deal. It might have more do to my particular body type, and less to do with the Shirts themselves, because they are not all that much longer. EDIT: Okay.. I just checked the length of these shirts against some of my others, and these shirts seem to be just fine. These shirts are the same length as some other ones I own. So like I said.. what I mentioned before about the lengths has more to do with my particular body type and less to do with the shirts. Again these shirts are the same length as some others that I own. So they are fine length-wise.. and a great value! Anyway, one (other) reason I choose these Shirts, was that I liked the fact that they have pockets, ..so in the end I am happy with them.

I’m torn as to how to rate this item. Considering the package literally just arrived and here I am writing a review should tell you I’m a tad annoyed. But maybe I should start at the beginning. So we buy these t-shirts all the time. Like ALL THE TIME. They’re true to size, so that’s important. And they have a pocket, which for some reason is a must-have for the wearer of these shirts, so that’s important. Now, these shirts are quite thin. Not see-through, mind you, but they’re very lightweight. Very lightweight. This probably matters to everyone, so it’s necessary to stress this. It’s not crepe-y or so thin it’s going to fall apart. It’s not unacceptably thin material. It’s just lightweight. This is super important in our situation because the wearer runs hot all the time. ALL THE TIME. Like he breaks a sweat eating a cracker. So yeah, lightweight t-shirts are a necessity. These fit the bill 100%. In my opinion, which may or may not matter, if you’re not in the market for lightweight t-shirts, then these shirts will probably be too thin for you. Unless you will be wearing them to cut the grass in 90-degree heat and then you’re going to be pleasantly surprised at your good fortune of having inadvertently purchased very thin, breathable t-shirts. I guess I should mention that these shirts are best for super casual wear, like around the house, working in the yard, etc. These aren’t shirts you’ll likely want to be wearing out to a restaurant or a party, but that’s just our two cents. We find that they wash well, the colors hold up as well as you’d expect, although after constant sweating and washing and drying, the shirts are going to be worse for the wear after a while. But we’re talking a perfectly acceptable while. It’s not as though you’ll be replacing these shirts every month or anything. And the price, come on. That’s why you’re considering this purchase in the first place, right? I mean, around $12-13 for four pocket t-shirts? That’s downright silly. They’re practically free. So why am I so annoyed that I rushed to write a review? Because the pack of assorted colors that I just received contained two dark shirts (navy or black, I couldn’t quite tell), a dark grey shirt, and...a WHITE shirt. White. A white t-shirt. Dude. That’s never ever ever ever considered an acceptable option for a package of t-shirts that’s “assorted colors.” Am I the crazy one here? I mean, sure, there’s a huge market for white t-shirts. But it’s not the same market as the one for colored t-shirts. This isn’t even wearable. You can see through it. Also, who wears a white t-shirt unless they wear them under their shirts or they’re specifically a white tee kinda person? I mean, you’re not gonna reach into your drawer to pick out a t-shirt and think, ahhh any color is fine — grey, black, whatever — and think that WHITE fits the bill for “whatever.” It’s not the end of the world, obviously, but if you buy a four-pack of colored t-shirts and you wind up with three colored shirts and one white shirt, you’re not gonna be thrilled. I mean, I guess $12-13 for 3 colored t-shirts isn’t awful...but I’m lying for four colored t-shirts, so yeah I’d like FOUR. The question is, do I order more of these and hope for the best?

Soft, comfortable with a great fit. I love them.

I am BOTH fairly tall (6 feet) and fairly large (230+lbs). I normaaly find most 2XLs to be a bit snug in the shoulders (oh yeah, I am broad shouldered as well) so 3xl was the only fit that was comfortable. Problem is that for some reason most 3xl fit decent length wise at first, but without treating them like a teenage diva (ie: if you didn’t use cold water and low/novheat drying) they would eventually shrink length-wise to the point of absurdity. These shirts FINALLY break that mold !!! They may seem a bit insanely long at first, but since they are cotton, once you wash them like a grown man washes all clothes (warm/hot wash and hot dryer) a few times they shrink length-wise to very respectable (tuckable) length. The other dimensions are normal (for 3xl) and are not exagerated...only the length is thankfully increased! Also, they are not a ridiculous “athletic cut” either, which is great (I mean no one that takes a 3xl is going to have an athletic build...unless they are closing in on 7 feet tall!). My only disappointment is that after purchasing these the price increased by about 30%… But honestly it’s still a very good deal… My first purchase might’ve just been a really good sale price… In my opinion these are easily worth up to about five dollars each… (But that would be a high-end… I mean these are just basicly pocket tees and fairly thin ones at that… Which by the way is another positive in my opinion… When you’ve got 3xl worth of material on you, you don’t need it to be incredibly thickas well). However, these are still thick enough to wear out and about… They are not see-through in any way shape or form... I would call their sickness about 75% of those that I got from banana republic a few years ago...and the banana republic ones were were about a thick as I would ever want any T-shirt to be... these are closer to the sweet spot...but I could even go a bit thinner than these and be even more happy...however, at that point the longevity would definately get impacted, so this thickness is a good solid compromise. The colors that I bought were spot on the pictures… I don’t know if I was lucky or if this is because I purchased directly from Amazon… But I have to say I am very happy with the colors… They ranged from dark cyan to somewhere close to a purple-blue. I recommend these VERY HIGHLY to anyone out there who is BOTH above average in height AND above average in girth. To put in another way, if normal T-shirts fit you in a way that makes it look like your shirt is hanging off the edge of a cliff, then you REALLY NEED to buy these… and if you don’t know what that means, then hey, good for you… But in that case these shirts may not be for you ...unless you are very, very tall.
