This product is so good! I have thick wavy hair that’s greasy on top but dry at the ends. I normally can’t wear anything “leave-in” or my hair will get greasy and heavy, and just looks gross. This is different, my hair is finally wavy without being frizzy! The only disappointment is that it doesn’t smell nice like the shampoo and conditioner, I almost thought it was rancid until I saw others saying the same. Other than that it works great and is very moisturizing.

I was advised by my hairdressing friend to purchase this and was a little worried it might be too greasy and thick for my hair. I also read a lot of other reviews stating that the product itself smelt really weird and off putting. BUTTTTTTTTT.... I love it! I only need to use a little pea size amount for my thin, naturally straight, blonde hair. The smell of the product from the bottle was weird not going to lie but once you put some in your hands and rubbed it through your ends, it reminded me of a nice floral scent. It does make my hair softer and tamed the frizz at the top. If you have thick hair, use more than a pea sized amount. Would purchase this again!!

Was really looking forward to this but on opening the battered box and the unsealed lid, the smell was awful and not something I would expect for the expense. Will be seeking a return

This leave-in primer is a one of a kind. Not only does it help to prime your hair for any other Oribe product you use to finish your hair (I also use the finishing smoothing cream) but it also helps to prep your hair for other products! I occasionally use a LUSH-brand leave-in (R&B specifically) and this primer helps that leave-in soak in and makes my hair feel softer than ever before! The scent of the primer is that of the shampoo, conditioner and softening cream- light and exotic, but pairs well with other product scents. I use about a large grape sized dollop, spread all over my hands (between the fingers and even the back of my hands a bit) before running all over and through my hair. I let air dry for just a minute or two before applying my next product. Can even be used alone on an off-day where you shower & soak your hair (but don’t shampoo) and just need a touch of moisture afterwards!
