Carhartt Men's A0005507 Detroit Belt

All good. The last one of these I got is 10+ years old and still works. I needed a new one since I lost a little weight so I got another one and I’m sure this belt will last as long as the last one. $ for $ this belt is a better deal than any other belt I’ve ever purchased.

I'm a big guy at 6' 3" and 260 lbs. This belt is perfectly thick, strong, and the super reinforced redundant stitching push it over the top for me. Real leather and attractive style make it a high quality product and I highly recommend!

I had never heard of Carhartt, but when I first wore this belt, my father-in-law recognized it as a Carhartt right away and praised me for getting such a durable belt. His statement has proven correct over time. This belt is thick and tough. You can easily use it as a working man's belt with equipment hanging off of it. That said, it is not as thick as plenty of working belts I've seen, so it can also be used as just a regular belt when going to a white collar job or out socially with friends. It isn't dressy enough for truly formal occasions, but can certainly be used in a business casual setting (assuming it isn't too scuffed up). The stitching looks nice and has held up over the years. The two belt holes I've used haven't stretched out too much, certainly not more than I consider reasonable for a leather belt. The buckle is solid without feeling clunky. It too has come through the years well and shows no significant signs of wear. This is a quality belt that most people would be well-pleased with.

Great looking belt that’s well made. It’s a quality item, with a very fair price offered on Amazon. My husband thinks the fit and the color are perfect. Looks really good with jeans.

I have purchased many items, (mostly work clothes/items) from Carhartt. Most recently I have found the quality has gone down. I bought my latest item on Amazon and what a disappointment. I ordered a replacement for a black leather belt I wear most days. Their fulfillment was terrible. I had to return the first one because I ordered a black belt and they delivered a gray one. They shipped through USPS, which I try to avoid. Amazon delivery is so much more reliable and efficient. The belt was a buy again item so I assumed it would be the same as my last one. What I received was slightly narrower with a cheap buckle and the leather was less substantial and certainty NOT a REPLACEMENT from what I had. It was not cheap at over $50. I will not be buying anything from Carhartt in the future. Buyer beware!

Top quality materials and workmanship. This will be my second one, I finally replaced my first one after fifteen years of daily use.

Great belt, has held up well so far and appears that it will continue that way. Was looking for a durable belt that would last and could have a buckle attached, this works great.

A little stretch in the first couple of weeks. Now fits nice. I would buy it again.
