Holds soup and stuff
Works really well for soups. Exactly as pictured, large bowl for soup and ramen. Holds up well in the dishwasher, and cleans really easily.

Great Miso Bowls
These bowls are great for the price. Hold a good amount of Miso soup, and have nice wide sides. I use them every day, they have had no issues with me pouring boiling water directly into them. They aren't super well insulated, but they have a nice sturdy heavy weight to them. Perfect for my daily soup!

When you sit the bowl down on a solid surface, it slides around like an air hockey puck.
Excellent bowls. You can still hold them when there is hot food in them because the base and rim stay cooler. The one problem is the base. The circular base does not have any notches is it as plates I have seen do. When you sit the bowl down on a solid surface, it slides around like an air hockey puck. A bowl of rice hit the floor and I could not figure out why until I saw a bowl moving by itself to the edge on a cushion of air.

Totally satisfied with the quality and excellent price
Totally satisfied with the quality and excellent price. I have filled it several times with steaming broth, vegetables and noodles. It also works well as a general serving piece. While I am a pottery collector of sorts, these bowls are light and manageable when full.

The bowl looks great, feels solid
Been using these for more than an year for noodle soup and rice. The bowl looks great, feels solid, and is also very light. Only issue you might have is the bowl not being thin enough to shield your hands from boiling liquids, but you can get around this simply by holding it with your fingers on the top and on the extrusion on the bottom only.

It's plastic
Yeah really my fault for not reading properly but most dishware in the US is ceramic so I assumed so.Doesn't seem to say it's toxin free and placing hot food into this is a risk. Microwave seems to damage it a bit.

Not dishwasher or microwave safe
The bowl says it’s not microwave or dishwasher safe - but the listing says it is. It’s cheap and flimsy.
