5 years , still love it! Laptop epp is easy
I use a computer lapboard and pressing mat to make epp shapes sitting on the couch. I "paint" starch around the edges (that I have sprayed into the cap of aerosol can). No need for basting or glue. 5 years and works great.

Recommend for HTV
So easy to use for small projects. Heats quickly and evenly for HTV. Very pleased.

Not convenient at all
I wish I hadn't purchased this. I had thought it would be great for getting inside a bag for the finishing press but it is very awkward. If you have a mini hand press, use that. That is what I end up doing each time I try this one. The handle pulls the sides of the bag in and I can't see anything. It has a nice small head but the handle is way too long. It just doesn't do what I had hoped. It does get hot and it does iron but the use isn't very good. Maybe I'll give it a try for piecing seams.

Great iron for encaustic & art projects
The media could not be loaded. Great little iron that I use for encaustic collage on large areas, such as applying fabric or printed papers to a panel for backgrounds. I love it's ergonomic possibilities as it has four levels of adjustment. Its also fantastic for encaustic safely with four heating levels-I use level 2 for encaustic. Also, great for safety is that it has it's own attached stand, so you just pick it up and put it back down with ease. It's a must have for encaustic collage enthusiasts.

Everything fits!
Perfect for my EPP bag. I really like that it can literally fit in my bag so it has everything I need for every stage of the process. The swivel head does take some getting used to, and I do appreciate that it can swival.

Cute!
This is just the right size to iron tiny seams open in a doll dress and other tight places where my big iron either won't fit or where the big iron makes creases in the wrong places because it's big. It balances on an attached wire thingamabob that folds out of the way while in use. But it also lies on its side without the hot part touching anything, which works for me, too. I like having more than one heat setting. It's perfect for what I wanted it for. It doesn't replace a big iron, but it does offer control in small areas. The ironing surface is about an inch long, really cute and shaped just like a real iron. It made very satisfactory creases where I wanted them. Not for kids, though. It's easy to forget this thing is hot!

Don't bother buying the Dritz Petite Press Portable Mini Iron, it won't last.
The Dritz Petite Press Portable Mini Iron was not worth the $30 I paid for it. Didn't heat evenly and now does not even work. Only used it 3 times when I went to use it a couple months later it didn't work at all. It wouldn't turn on, show numbers or get hot, although red power light was on. I should have used it a lot when I got it so when it died so soon I could have returned it. I was hoping it would be wonderful as it was just the right size
