No, I don't think so. Kiwi is the number one brand of shoe polish. I use this brand polish on all kinds of leather shoes and have never had a problem. I like the sponges because it allows me to do a quick touch up. I hope this answer helps.

OK but could be better

They are very good though the design can benefit from improvement in shape. As is, the plastic edges do scrape against the shoe surface and can leave scratches. They don't last long, dry up quickly.

Works in a pinch but not long lasting

This sponge is handy for quick touch-ups and does give shoes a nice shine right away. It’s great if you just need something fast before heading out the door. The downside is that it doesn’t seem to last very long. After a few uses, the sponge starts to dry out and the shine fades quickly. It’s convenient, but not a replacement for proper polish if you want something that really holds up.
