Just received my glove and I tried it on. To be clear Ive had these types of gloves before, and I must say that this is NOT it. It feels like a regular winter glove that I could of went in my drawer to get. If this glove wasn't just $4 I would of returned this product. This is NOT a heat resistant glove, to ME its just a regular glove advertised as such with a pink lining to make it look different. And there was a hole in it!

They protect your hands from the heat, you cannot hold the iron with them. You can feel heat through them after a few seconds but these are enough to keep you from getting burned with an accidental touch. While I like the grips to help hold the hair around my wand better, I'm giving 4 stars because the little rubber nubs on the glove melted off and I wasn't touching the iron like in the picture, but while holding the end of my hair around the curling wand. Just from it being close enough to the heat it melted. I'm not sure if it melted to my hair. It comes with 1 glove, which I knew, but just wanted to make everyone else aware.

I have to wrap my hand around my curling iron/brush to keep my hair in it because my hair is so fine. This glove really keeps my hand from getting burned.

This is the first time I have purchased and used a heat resistant glove, so I have nothing to compare it to. It does what I had hoped it would do; protect my fingers from being burned by my straightening appliance. It is harder to section out my hair with a glove on, but I guess that's to be expected.

I bought this glove to use when using a curling wand, as I had lost the one it came with. So I had a point of reference as to how this glove should perform since I’d used one before. This glove DID NOT perform like it should! I felt like this worked no better than a typical winter glove. You definitely feel the heat in a big way through these, to the point that you must release your fingers.

This is a good glove and prevents burns to the hand when curling hair. Another good aspect of this glove is that it is not coated, this dies not change the smell of your hair. The odor from the coating on many other hot iron gloves permeates into my hair when using them and makes my hair stink - these gloves do not do that.

These gloves really DO protect your fingers and hand from hot styling tools. I have just used the left glove so far and I am able to manipulate my hair even when it gets hot from my tools. In the past, my fingers would get uncomfortably hot. This solves the problem. I’m sorry I didn’t buy it sooner.

I am in no way hair tool savvy, and these help to prevent me burning myself because I’m clueless as to what I am doing. Well worth the cost.
