Most uplifting pregnancy book out there- ESSENTIAL!!!
This book is like drinking a cup of your favorite tea. It is warm, comforting and gives your spiritual side excitement and love. I loved how easy it was to read this book and not feel overwhelmed. Unlike the other pregnancy books I have read, this book focuses on the positives! She does not dwell on the "what ifs" or "horrible birth stories". She talks about how WE as women can take charge and control of the pregnancy and birth WE want. I love that she breaks down the Feng shui mindset and lifestyle in such a simple way that I felt I could start adapting those ideas into my life immediately. I loved reading about the different birth traditions in other cultures, the walk-thru of writing a birth plan, and the different elements I can use daily to live a happier life. Anyone could read this book - pregnant or not - and get some nuggets out of it.I would recommend reading this book for anyone that wants a POSITIVE and UPLIFTING read to encourage a healthy pregnancy.

The only pregnancy book you need
This book is a hundred times more comprehensive than I thought it would be based on the sample alone. It is your one-stop pregnancy guide, especially for first-timers like me who are a bit apprehensive about our changing bodies and, of course, the big finale. Bailey Gaddis, a doula, writes from a non-judgmental place of caring and understanding that makes me feel like I have a strong female friend encouraging me along the way. This book covers everything you could ever want to know about pregnancy and childbirth, from how to reframe your thoughts about prenatal exercise to how to make your home a welcoming haven for your newborn. And, of course, it covers the mechanics of getting that baby into the world. Gaddis shares the ways cultures around the world and throughout history have viewed childbirth in a positive light as a rite of passage and a means of rebirth for the woman as she becomes a mother. Far from being preachy, Gaddis explains her own apprehensions about childbirth and gently walks you through becoming accepting of the process. I wish I had bought this book as soon as I got my positive!

I wish I would have found this book sooner!
I started reading this book at 35 weeks pregnant with baby #2 after watching some of Bailey Gaddis’ YouTube videos. I can’t put it down! I wish I would have had this book during pregnancy #1! This book speaks of pregnancy so beautifully. It’s so empowering and really reminds the reader that she is a goddess. I’ll be recommending this book to every pregnant or ttc woman I know!

The Best Holistic Birthing Book
If you want to peel back all the layers of pregnancy, birth and early motherhood, and have a truly enjoyable, transformative experience, this book is for you. It goes so much deeper than any other pregnancy and birth book I've read, and is FUN to read! The author is super funny and able to provide information in a really clear, unthreatening way. I also just read the author's new book "Asking For a Pregnant Friend," and loved it. They're the only two pregnancy and birth books you need, which is why I'm now going to gift them to every woman I know who is expecting.

Misleading title + no sample/ inside look = meh product reviews.
Hoping for an actual feng shui book for moms, like how to organize your home so it's functional and zen. unfortunately this is not that book, more like a self-help book. It's alright, but not what I was looking for.
