Don't buy this!
Don't buy this! Bought the product on July 10, 2020 for AED 489. For a year and a half, the product was used no more than 10 times for mixing 2-3 cups of flour. After that, the head of the working part stopped rotating. Disassembly revealed that in the bevel - worm gear, a plastic bevel gear is used with a metal worm drive, which destroyed the plastic, having much greater rigidity. This is a design flaw that was deliberately implemented to reduce the unit cost and in order to take money for repairs! It's a shame for such a brand!

This machine works beautifully, testament to great engineering - have used it on all my favourite cakes and bread and vegetable prep and the results have been great. In answer to some common questions: Yes - you will need to scrape the side to ensure everything is fully mixed but no more than in other mixers like Kitchen Aid or Kenwood No - this model doesn't have the storage rack for blades that come with the more expensive model but all the mixer paddles fit neatly into the bowl. I love it so much I wish I had bought the model with storage rack and a few more gadgets. In light of recent events the mincer attachment would have been very useful. Yes - the mixer is very neat and has a small footprint. So you could pack it away but it also looks great so I keep mine out and collect compliments. Yes - it is really easy to clean a quick wipe with a micropore cloth and the bodywork gleams, the bowl and blades clean very easily in sink. Two tips: 1) mixer has park setting that puts the mixer paddles in correct spot to lift clear of the bowl 2) Watch the DVD that comes with the product for instructions and recipes. Also look on YouTube there are some great ideas for using the product. So BSH Home Appliances good job for stocking this at a good price. I am really surprised that this machine form Bosch isn't wiping the floor with other more expensive products, it is a quality product that looks great

I did a lot of research before I bought this. I couldn't decide between this, which does everything, or two seperate items - a kitchen mixer and a food processor. I looked at magimix's, but because I knew I would probably generally use mine once a week (Sunday dinners) rather than everyday (bake sales, WI, big family) it seemed like too big of an investment for me. Also, I have a fairly small kitchen with limited workspace/countertops and I liked the small footprint of this machine. Today I've used it to chop onions, slice potatoes and make merengues. Not having to hold an electric mixer for ages to make merengues was AMAZING, and they are the best I've ever made! The onions and potatoes were finished in minutes. No more tears/cut fingers! So why wouldn't you want this machine if you'll use it alot? Well, there is only the one bowl and it isn't huge. For instance, when slicing the potatoes, next time I'll know to take them out of this bowl and put them in another one if I'm doing a large quantity, because they got backed up and some of the potatoes ended up in lots of tiny pieces rather than sliced! However, the slices that weren't "backed up" were perfect. I used 4 egg whites for my merengues, but you certainly wouldn't want to use more that that. So if you were baking in quantity you would need to empty out the bowl, clean it and start again. I love the look, and it feels sturdy. The motor is big and strong enough for me - I'm sure the 1000w magimix is better, but this is good enough for what I need it to do. It looks great too. For the sake of fairness and helping people chooose a machine, I'm giving it 4 rather than 5 stars just because it might possibly have benefited from being made a wee bit bigger. (It takes a lot to get 5 stars from me!) Also, I think the instructions for using this machine are dire. Hubby had to help me figure it out! Happy cooking & baking!

Bought this mixer after my Andrews James mixer broke (only 2yrs in!). Only arrived today and I've already been using it. Much quieter than my last mixer and a really good size if you don't have too much worktop space. The speed is more than fast enough for cakes and breads etc. The food processor parts came with the mixer so I will be trying that out soon! My concern before I bought the mixer was the size of the bowl however it's plenty big enough for home baking and the attachments work well. I would of given it five stars if the bowl was slightly bigger. The only other downside is that the design could have been better thought out. You have to take the Lid off the bowl before lifting the arm each time which can be annoying and messy if your adding ingredients as you go. The attachments work fine though. I'd recommend watching the 'appliancea online video of the product before purchasing so you can see how it all works. Overall, good value for the money!

Great mixer. Does everything it claims to do with no problems at all. If you're anything like me, you won't use the slicing tools unless you're gonna be chopping huge quantities of veg or whatever, as it's a bit of a mare to clean. But the machine is sturdy, well-equipped and very precise with its movements. For half the price of a Kenwood Chef, this is a good option. If I have to be picky, I'll say that the little plastic tab which covers the peripheral port on the top of the mixing arm thingy (I hope you know what I mean here - not exactly being succinct!) comes off all the time. I might glue a magnet to the inside of it so it keeps itself on when the arm is lifted, as that is kind of annoying.

I've been wanting a food processor for so long, but you all know how expensive those big Kitchenaids are. This little jewel does the job perfeclty. I love the fact that it's really compact, it stays on my VERY SMALL kitchen worktop all the time, I still have space to do other things (like rolling dough, cutting shapes ... :D ). The whisk works brilliantly, it scrapes the sides of the bowl very well. The dough hook is brillant to do heavy doughs, I use it to to my bread I'll finally get rid of my bread machine ! I took 1 star off, because I feel this could have been a bit more powerful, but it works very well anyway, maybe I'm a bit fussy ;) I surely recommand this product !
