A perfect, portable, all-around board that does everything reasonably well
Got this super cheap so thought I would give it a try. First of all, as an inflatable, its not going to perform as well as a hard board of the same size and shape. But the trade off is well worth it, because this is portable, packs easily, and you can take it anywhere. The shape is more of an all-around shape than a straight up surfing shape (on the one hand) or touring shape (on the other), so it won't really catch serious waves or win any speed races on flat water. That said, it tracks very well, is lots of fun in small surf (1 foot or so), keeps up fairly well with my touring board, and tracks and glides well when going for a relaxing couples paddle. It pumps up fairly easily in about 5 minutes to 15 psi with the included pump, and if you are in decent shape this will be no problem at all. The pump is decent quality, with an easy to read pressure gauge. I also like the front and back end handles, as well as the D-ring at the from to attach a tie rope when you want to tie up the board somewhere but don't want to pull it out of the water. The compression straps are also just fine for a small dry bag with a raincoat, snack, phone (in its own dry box or bag) or other small gear you may want for an afternoon paddle. If you want to race, don't buy this. And if you plan to surf anything bigger than knee high waves, don't buy this. But if you want a board that is gonna be fun for the whole family on a lake, at the buy, on a river, on flat water, or wherever, then this is terrific. We took it to the Outer Banks and used it at the beach and on the bay and everyone had a ton of fun. When the kids are fooling around, they can climb on, fall off, flip it over, and so on without risk of injury because it is much softer than a hard board. It is also easy on the feet.Last point is the construction. At 15 psi it is really, really stiff and works perfectly. It also seems very well made with all the seams glued and overlapped. The valve looks fairly heavy duty, as is the fabric it is made from. For less than $600, this board was a steal and will be in my car whenever we go anywhere with water.

I Love My Paddle Board - While it Lasted
Update: After my THIRD use I noticed a hole on the side of the board. Very disappointing. Going to have to return.I bought this board because I read great reviews about Bic paddle boards, the design was cool, and the price was almost $200 less than list price - no one had a better price and faster shipping than Amazon.Because I don't live on a lake and don't have a truck inflatable SUPs are the best for me.Let's start with the only thing I didn't like. I was a little disappointed by how enormous the backpack is. The board is 10'6" but I've seen other boards similar in size that are way more compact when rolled up. The first time I deflated it it took me literally 10 times to get it back in the bag. Part of the problem is that the air goes into the nose of the board so you have to start with the tail so that you can push the remaining air out of the board as you roll it up. The tail is really stiff because of the 3 fins (the center is removable) so instead of rolling you end up folding it therefore it is not as compact. It feels like trying to zip up an overfilled suitcase and I'm worried that the zippers are goi g to fail. The backpack isn't designed very well either. The straps are ridiculously thin for a backpack built to carry akward sized, heavy materials. For $949, Bic definitely needs to upgrade the backpack. But that's the only negative thing about this board. It's really easy to pump up - no need for a compressor. I have no upper arm strength and I can get it up to 15psi in about 7 minutes which is fantastic! And once inflated it was super easy to carry from the inner center handle on the front of the board. I could easily carry with one arm.At 6 inches thick this board glides on top of the water with ease with absolutely no give in the middle. Most people don't even realize it's inflatable when they ask about it. At 10'6", the board is great for yoga and fitness. There are 4 D rings and bungee cord to hold down gear near the nose of the board and for me it's placed in the perfect spot. So your gear isn't in the way when you are paddling or doing yoga and there's also room for your dog. There is also a bigger D ring on the tail for your leash and is useful for resistance bands. The board is a little slower because of its width of 33" but I'm not into racing so that's fine with me. I'm able to paddle fast enough and turning is easy. Again, the board is super stable so it's great for beginners or for yoga. The lake was really choppy the other day and I was fine. In fact I slipped and fell once because my foot fell asleep and I basically fell right on my butt on the board. I was expecting to topple into the water but the board didn't move or tilt one bit and I stayed perfectly dry. I like that there is a detachable center fin which makes turning easier but adds a little drag. Since the center fin is detachable you can customize your ride.. I've only had the board one week but so far so good. It's a quality board and it doesn't have a scratch yet. I feel like the quality won't let me down and I'll have this board for a long time.

Great product for the price!
This board is a fantastic product for the price. Gets nice and firm when fully inflated. Easy to break down and store. Was having trouble with the pump for a little while but then I realized that there was a glob of glue in the nozzle and once I scraped that out it now works just fine. If you want to pay a lot more for somthing like a red board you could get a board that has less give but for my purposed this is great. Rec paddling on ocean, lakes, and rivers, and SUP Yoga.

Great got the board took it out the first chance ...
Great got the board took it out the first chance I got. This was only my second time on a board. Went out for a 1 1/2 hour paddle. This board is stable and I had no issues. Would recommend to buy.Update: found a minor air leak around the air fill ring. The manufacturer states to return to the place of purchase ( 1 year warranty). With Amazon if you don't return within 30 days you are screwed. Having conversation with Bic now. Amazon told me that it is my problem. Watch the warrantys with the items you purchase on Amazon.Good luck
