Rubbermaid FG2214TPDIM Roughneck Storage Box, 10 Gallon, Dark Indigo Metallic

I've used a lot of different storage totes over the years, and I keep coming back to Roughnecks (in various sizes). I've used them for storing and transporting outdoor gear, theater props, dry goods. They stack better than other brands, both in terms of how stable they are when stacked AND how much weight they can withstand when stacked. Obviously they still have a limit, but it's impressive. They resist cracking, especially in the cold, better than any Sterilite bins I've used (clear or solid). My team have used and abused these things loading them in and out of trucks, barns, basements, camps, etc, and they just LAST. I still have the same bins I've been using since 2003 - I just add on as I need.

This is a well made, sturdy tote.

I purchased this going off the picture thinking it would be 6 containers. The details of the item did not state that it was only 1. Way over priced for 1 container. I returned it because of the price. Other wise the rubbermaid container is a great container and quality, I ended up purchasing else where.

Perfect for what I needed. But I'm not taking them camping, sitting on them, or throwing them down a mountain. I just wanted them to be small enough to fit under my desk and not be too heavy when filled with the books and photographs, etc. that I want to store in them.

We already had some of these navy dark indigo 10 gallon totes. So glad we found another. They are great for holding camping items, using as wash tubs, and putting in the trunk of a vehicle to hold groceries. They have so many uses. A great buy!

I did fit my my Miele "Quick Start Vacuum Cleaner" in the container, but along the diagonal. Keep the same height for under the bed storage , but lengthen it by3 inches. This may or may not be possible since Rubber Maid uses gallon designations to determine length, width and height. However Rubbermaid excels all other brands in waste paper baskets and plastic storage containers.

Look to be very durable and would hold up in the weather. Sent back wanted something small
