Tower T900114 Precision 28cm Non-Stick Forged Aluminium Frying Pan with Black Diamond Coating, Soft Grip Handle, Black

This is not an expensive frying pan. But it's probably the best one I have ever used (and believe me, I have tried a lot of different pans). It's big and deep, with lots of room to cook stews as well as fry a large amount of food. It gives an excellent sear on a steak, but can also cook delicate omelettes. The non stick coating is really good and feels stronger than other pans I have had (maybe the dimpled coating makes it stronger?) It's easy to clean and I feel it will last well. Thoroughly recommended.

This Tower Non-Stick Frying Pan is a decent hefty aluminium based pan for frying larger items or those with a lot of water content.The sides are the most notable feature as they are fairly high, meaning that you can easily fry food that has a more watery consistency such as tomatoes and that other foods won't be in danger of going over the edge.The non-stick surface works well and we've not had any issues with food sticking to this so far, even fried eggs, which are often a sticking point (pun unintended).It's not overly heavy for its size, either, which surprised me and the 28" size is pretty good for a family. The only issue we did find was that it didn't really heat around the edges as much as the middle. leading to an uneven cooking surface.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a solid frying pan with a well constructed ergonomic handle. The handle has a hanging hook for storage and has a soft silicone covering to prevent heat induction along the handle and slippage when handling. The handle is most robust.The non stick properties are incredible. (See video with melting fat). The interior has a surprisingly rather rough-coated covering. However, the dimpling that this coating (‘nano crate’ technology) produces ensures that fried food is lifted out with less oil. I am delighted that this frying pan works on our induction hob and am equally pleased that this is dishwasher safe. Whilst hand washing is still recommended by Tower, this pan emerged from the dishwasher as new on its first outing.The pan itself is quite deep which makes this versatile. It is ideal for frying coated fish or frying meats to seal, prior to adding to a casserole dish or adding sauce.As an initial test, I fried four eggs in this. Frying these proved disappointing. I did not find that the eggs cooked evenly with the middle of the pan cooking far quicker than at the sides. However, the eggs were edible and the pan is more than large enough to accommodate four large eggs. Moving forwards, I would reserve this pan for heavy duty frying only.
