Working well, looks good
I bought this as a replacement for another I got from another seller.(The previous one was a refurb - had two connector pins very slightly out of line. Gave me no trouble until the first time my son tried to dock the laptop when the pins bent down. They are small, thin, and delicate I concluded it wasn't practical to repair... so I bought this one.)I was a bit concerned that there may be counterfeit port replicators in circulation. As far as I can tell (and we have a lot of direct-from-Dell replicators at work to compare with), both that I bought are genuine. I opened the previous broken one up and confirmed that it contained high grade computer quality circuit boards and assembly (also with no sign of any additions - technically it is possible to add hardware to a docking station that will spy on the user's activity).I am using this with a Dell Latitude E6420 so I have not been able to test the USB3 speed of this replicator as the E6420 motherboard only supports USB 2.0 speeds, but I got this model to be compatible with my next work laptop and because it is more compact than the PR02's we have at work. For external monitor I am using the Dell U3011 which I also like very much (I bought this replicator because the E6420 does not have a Display Port so without the replicator I could not get the maximum supported resolution of the monitor.Note that there is only one display Port on this replicator. It should be able to drive two monitors by daisy-changing them but the U3011 does not support that. There is a newer monitor model which I believe does. In any case - I only wanted a single 30" monitor for home use so this is not an issue for me. (I am not sure if a second monitor could be driven by the DVI this replicator has - I didn't test/investigate that). These port replicators should be compatible with the E-series of laptops and also a number of Precision laptops. Dell make it very confusing with lots of different model numbers and slightly different descriptions of basically similar port replicators. I suspect model number variation varies depending on which factory they are built in. Another difference is the size of the power supply supplied (in this case it came without one - that suited me as I wanted to save money and I still had the PSU from the broken replicator). Some of the Precision laptops require rather large power supplies.

6 STARS! This E/Port made a HUGE difference with my photography business!
MVP in my small photography business to add value to my Dell Latitude laptop. For me, the most used features - three USB 3 outputs to greatly speed up data transfer with 3 separate USB 3 hard drives. Three ADDITIONAL regular USB outputs (for a total of 9 USB devices at once). DVI output that I use with an HDMI adapter cord to feed my big Dell monitor (Dell does not have an HDMI out).I used to lug around a HUGE tower PC to my on-the-spot printing jobs, mainly because of the additional USB inputs and USB 3 connectors for quick access to data. Once I updated it to Windows 10, I found out that it would no longer work with my Sony dye sub printer because there are no Win10 drivers! NOW my older laptop with Windows 7 and my E/Port not only take up 1/4 of the space, (desperately needed), but actually work TWICE AS FAST as my tower using Win10 and Adobe Lightroom CC. I had one issue, which Electro Spot took care of with 100% satisfaction! I will be checking with them first whenever I need more gear!

Works but not complete.
Ok, I order product after deciding I want a dock for my new e5530. After searching dells website over 100$ was too much. I purchased this knowing that it did not come with an ac adapter I thought my laptops ac adapter would work. According to dell it shouldn't my adapter is a 90 watt adapter and it seems to work just fine the adapter recommended is a 130 Watt. The minus 1 star is because of the panic dell gave me when they said the right adapter is 90$ bucks. I have used all the ports except the display port I use VGA.The day of delivery and this review the price online went up from 30$ to now 55$ plus shipping so I don't know what gives but glad I bought it. WARNING DOES NOT COME WITH AC ADAPTER however works just fine for me! Also I received exactly what I ordered.

Works well and arrived on time - packaging is a bit sketchy
The docing station arrived a day or two before the guarenteed delivery date ( this is a good thing) and works witha Del E5440 laptop. i subtrac4ted 1 start as the shipping packaging was to individually wrap the Docking station, powere cord and porwer supply module in bubble pack, then place them in a USPS box. They seemed a bit loosely packed and with only 1/2 inch of buble pack between the box and teh device. Luckilly it arrived without damage. ( it was not packaged in Dell OEm packaging)

Arrived in good working order
If you have a docking port on your laptop and work in an office of any kind, or have a home office this is a must have. It has additional USB ports, you can also connect an Ethernet cable. It also allows you to hook up a 2nd monitor if you wish (which is a must for me). Just pop it in and you are good to go. The one i ordered did come with a power cable, but from reading other reviews, it seems as though not all sellers include the cable.

Great value.
I got this product for such a deal! It is a great item for a home office where you only plan on having one external monitor. I have two externals at work which requires a docking station that has two video outputs. This one had one and in my particular situation worked great at home. I had my own power adapter so I was able to get this docking station (which did not include a power adapter).

It works just fine, came in a few days
It works just fine, came in a few days. But With what seems like 30 different versions of these things out there, I can see why they didn't show a picture of the back side. This one has (1)DVI and (1)VGA. Also 1, maybe 2 Display Port, but I hate those. Still had (2) USB 3.0's though.

Very functional docking station - provided you don't need USB 3.0
Very functional docking station for my Latitude E5440. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the claim around USB 3.0. I inspected the device when it was first received, and none of the ports are noted as USB 3.0.However, as my laptop didn't come with a USB 3.0 either, this wasn't an issue - I just don't think the advertising is accurate (hence the docking of 1 star). My objective was a dual monitor setup at home. Connecting the monitors via DVI and Display Port worked well and I used the USB ports to connect a 7-port USB hub and a printer. This was a set-and-forget operation, as I removed the laptop only minimally while it was connected to the docking station. For the price I paid for it, I found this to be a worthwhile purchase, but I would highly recommend doing your research to ensure you have the correct product, especially if USB 3.0 is a requirement.

Just what I needed for my Precision 4700
They don't really make docking stations anymore in the age of USB-C and Thunderbolt ( endless dongles). I picked up a great second-hand Precision 4700 last year (truly a Tank of a computer) - and it had the classic Dell docking port. I purchased this inexpensively without the power adaptor ( as the actual 4700 is a honking 180W beast that weighs more than most modern notebooks)

Works as expected
The media could not be loaded. Good tool for productivity. I can use both of my monitors now while using the desktop setup. Pl keep up the good work.

It works pretty fine and all the ports are working
It works pretty fine and all the ports are working, there are two issues, first, the adapter coming with the unit is not strong enough to power my Dell Precision 7510 (it was mentioned compatible) but I always get warning message when I reboot on the setup screen. Second, it is missing a part to fix the laptop in the right location. The port underneath my laptop is located near the edge, but this is designed for mostly ports in the middle.
