Nice soft blanket for your Firewing fans. It is smaller than I thought but still very nice. It is fairly lightweight.

Soft, lightweight/thin, small. We live in Arizona, so this will be a great summertime blanket to keep cool, but still cozy.My son was super excited to get this blanket, and couldn’t stop talking about wings of fire as he pretended the blanket were his very own wings.No weird odor like another review mentioned that they had for theirs (I’m pregnant and sensitive to smells). It may just have been bad luck on one.

My son loves this blanket. He loves the colors and it’s a perfect size for a cuddling couch blanket.

Unpacking this blanket was a nightmare. I don’t know if it was some kind of oil or perfume, but we hadn’t even fully taken off the wrapping and this strong, horrendous odor hit our noses. The smell took over the entire room. I immediately washed the blanket in an empty washing machine; two runs with a little extra detergent then let it air dry and ran a bleach cycle in the washing machine to make sure whatever it was, was gone. The wrapping that the blanket arrived in immediately went to the outdoor garbage can, and we all washed our hands with soap and water. Washed our faces and rinsed out our eyes and blew our noses. It was a bizarre experience. Other than that, our daughter loves the blanket and uses it when she’s reading her Wings of Fire books. The images are a little blurry and you can tell it’s not made for quality, but it does its job for our daughter.
