Miracle brush for sensitive/receding gums!
This brush is by far the softest tooth brush I have purchased to date, and I am constantly looking for the best product to clean my sensitive gums. In the past I have had recession from over brushing, so I have had to be very careful now to prevent my gums from receding further. I am only in my 20's so of course, this is essential! I have also tried the Dr. Collins Perio brush which is recommended after oral surgery for healthy and sensitive gums, and Curaprox is actually much softer. The bristles are rounded at the end so you can brush efficiently without pain. You don't need to apply much pressure during use, the Curaprox bristles are so soft that they gently, but thoroughly clean your teeth as well as under the gum line. The bristles are very dense so you definitely get a thorough clean, despite being so soft - I know people seem to think harder brushes will clean better, this is simply not true. Your mouth just feels fresher altogether after using this brush.Very pleased!

THE toothbrush.
These toothbrushes are the shizzet ...softer than anything but clean your teeth like you just got back from a pro cleaning . Who knew the Swiss could produce a better toothbrush? I do,now ! My family won't use any other toothbrush now. Wife, myself and two teens . A+ grade. Worth the slightly higher cost , I promise.

The best toothbrush!
I've tried many different kinds of toothbrushes in my life, but since I found this one, it's been my favorite (for a few years already). It works great, it's super soft, which is very important for the teeth and gums, comfortable to use, and it has a little case for the brush. All good dentists highly recommend it. I recommend it, too! Plus, every time I order it from amazon, it comes super fast (even with standard shipping)!

Soft but strong.
I have gum recession and kept using a particular type of ultra soft toothbrush by OralB for the past five years recommended by my dentist. I was very satisfied by those toothbrushes which I used to buy overseas. Here in the US I was not able to find them so I switched to this. Have been using it for over two months. Comfortable to use and I love the design. They come in pretty colors, and they gave caps. Also, you need just a tiny amount of toothpaste for these. The only reason I’m giving it four stars and not five is I don’t feel my teeth get as clean as the other toothbrush I used to use. That might be just a feeling though because these feel very different on teeth and gums than any other toothbrushes I’ve ever used.

Love it.
I love this toothbrush. It looks simple but does a good job. I wasn't sure about it because it looked nothing special but this is a perfect toothbrush for me. Clean my teeth really good and doesn't bother my gum. I have a sensitive gum and my dentist suggested this toothbrush. You can choose different colors. Every third months I order different color but the quality is the same. There are some special edition too but the most important thing how it cleans my teeth and save my gum. Sometimes the simple looking toothbrush makes the best job.

my new favorite toothbrush!
i have sensitive teeth and gums, plus i brush WAY too hard, so i need a very soft toothbrush. i've tried every brand of so-called super-soft or sensitive toothbrushes available at the drugstore and they all irritate my gums. tried this one on a whim and i am never going back! this is the softest toothbrush i've ever tried. that plus the huge number of bristles makes it feel almost like brushing with velvet (not kidding.) the small brush head - close in size to that of a children's toothbrush - is perfect for my small jaw. i am never going back.

Super soft for strong brushers
I am a power brusher and used to get gum pain. These are so super soft I can still brush enthusiastically without hurting my gums. And the way the bristles get a little under the gum (and dentist recommended)—you can feel it. The degree of softness did take me by surprise and they wear out a bit more easily, so be sure softness is what you are seeking and you’ll be happy.

Dense bristles, not as soft as expected
I am always in search of a better mousetrap, and the rave reviews of the Curaprox brush prompted me to buy this Ultrasoft 5460, the softest Curaprox in the lineup.I was hoping for a super soft but super effective cleaning. The brush did feel fairly gentle. However, I felt like this brush was destroying my gumline. I did try brushing more softly, but my teeth were not getting cleaned at all with the light brushing. I feel like this brush would be more effective if the bristles weren't so dense and allowed some to fit between the curves of the teeth. Maybe my teeth are just too curvy for a flat dense brush like this one. I don't have gum disease or anything serious like that but my gums do bleed what you might call easily. I've reverted back to abcOralcare Sanha brushes, which have much finer bristles, feel softer, and seem to clean a lot better. They also cost a lot leas which is an added bonus - but not a deciding factor in my preference for them. By the way I have also tried a lot of other brushes many of which I forgot to keep track of, but the recent rejects include Nimbus and POH regular hardness, both for being too hard, although they were both decent products, just too stiff and poky for me. I would say the Curaprox Ultrasoft is softer than those two brushes, but the density of the bristles makes it in some ways less effective at cleaning. I would probably choose the Nimbus brush over this Curaprox one as I prefer the bristle layout. An interesting note, Curaprox does offer very tiny brushes for individually brushing teeth, as detailed on their website. They have a 6mm and 9mm version of this brush. The small size might solve some of the issues with the flat dense nature of this brush, so I may try those next. For toothpaste I like Squigle sensitive, Essential Oxygen brushing rinse, and various toothpowders, tooth oils, peelu fibers etc. According to the Curaprox website, you actually don't need toothpaste though, you could just use water. This was a new idea to me and interesting. If you are interested in cultivating a beneficial oral microbiome using just (non chlorinated) water might be a good idea. (Update: I have tried out the water only method suggested by Curaprox and it does seem to work.)Update 2016: I did buy the tiny brushes for individually brushing teeth, and I like them. However, it is time consuming to use such a small brush so I still use the abcOralcare brushes for regular brushing. The little brushes are also really pointy so they aren't very good for cleaning entire teeth, they are much better for crevices. I occasionally use the tiny brushes for cleaning the gumline or between teeth. I am confident to say after trying so many brushes that the abcOralcare brushes must be one of the best brushes you can buy, since I can't seem to find anything better no matter how many toothbrushes I purchase. I did also try recently a Radius baby toothbrush, but the bristles were not as soft as the abcOralcare and a whole bunch fell out into my mouth the first time I used it which was a big negative. I do think the abcOralcare brushes wear out too quickly and lose their effectiveness which is their only major negative besides perhaps the use of plastic which is hard to avoid in toothbrushes.
