Is the outside of the drum red or blue??? I'd love to have the blue one.

The one we received was a very pretty blue on the outside rim. We did not choose a color so not sure if you have a choice or they are all blue.

does this have an animal hide or fiberskyn drumhead?

I don't know. It was a gift for my grandson and I had it shipped directly to him.
