Honey Vintage - Like wine, the Vintage records the year of harvest. The Manuka flower providing nectar to make honey are affected by the climate prior to and during the flowering season. A Summer 2019 Vintage means the honey was harvest in New Zealand's Summer, between November 2019 and March 2020. A vintage we are proud of. Slightly nutty, medium sweetness and herbal notes. Light in consistency, full on in flavor. Indulgence on a spoon.
Small Batch & Single Region - The same type of honey but from different regions will have subtle differences. Our honey is carefully harvested in small batches and is not blended or mixed with honey from other areas. Like wine from a single vineyard, Manuka Emporium honey is pure and natural, its unique properties and unique flavors are a true reflection of its region of origin. To capture this in each jar we do not blend or mix honey sourced from different areas.
