Mothers Back-to-Black Trim & Plastic Restorer, 10 oz. Aerosol (06110)

Stuff is magic, beats everything else I've tried by miles

This works very well

It is rare — disturbingly rare — to encounter a product so preposterously effective, so violently correct, that it rattles one's very understanding of reality. Mother’s Back to Black is such a product. Picture, if you are able, a battered plastic trim — a once-proud ornament now reduced to a brittle, gray husk by the savage, howling indifference of nature. It is an obscenity. A desecration. And then — and then! — with a trembling hand, one applies Mother’s, and the blackness is resurrected. Not some synthetic, clownish black, no — a blackness ancient and elemental, as if torn from the mouth of creation itself. The substance glides across the surface with the elegance of a practiced assassin. It binds itself, body and soul, to the plastic, and does not merely restore — it exalts. The scent? Malevolent. Perfect. It hints at arcane rituals, at forgotten alchemies — as if to say: "You, little mortal, have summoned something far beyond your reckoning." And, lest you fear isolation in this strange and terrible beauty, you are not alone. Mother’s customer service stands behind you, vigilant and unerringly human, with a warmth so genuine it borders on the unnatural. They are not simply helpful. They are devoted. They care. And that, in this fetid modern world, is perhaps the most unsettling miracle of all. Were I any less composed — any less numbed by the sheer audacity of this experience — I would fall to my knees and thank the stars that such a thing still exists. Buy it. Before it vanishes from this doomed earth.

Great product with lots of uses, applies easily and leave a nice low gloss finish. Lasts a good while as well, through the elements. Only negative is the lack of quality in the spray nozzles, they like to fall out and leak when using the product. They easily go back in, but still a pain to deal with. Seems to be an issue with almost every one I’ve bought. Still recommend the product, as I would any Mothers products.

I got some wax on the front of my front bumper of my 2016. Santa Fe and I tried a couple different things to get it to come off and it would not. I purchased this and all I did was spray it on in the white from the wax is gone it worked

Started using this on the plastic parts around my home office desk because they were looking dull on video calls. I manage an office for work, so messy trim at home was bugging me. The spray goes on pretty even and I just wipe with an old cotton t‑shirt. My black monitor stand and the trim on my filing cabinet look a lot deeper and cleaner now. It also helped on the faded plastic step stool I keep under the desk. The smell is a bit stronger than I like and lingers for a while, so I crack a window first. Also, it can leave a slightly greasy feel if I spray too close, so I started doing lighter passes.

Good product

I would give no stars if I could. Right off the bat the "spray" was mixed with the product just running like water out of the nozzle. Yes I shook it well, no it was not out of propellant. I said ok fine, how does it work? It doesn't. It made no difference to black plastic at all. Would not recommend.

Amazing product, brings back the original black colour

Rich black trim and plastic result that stays almost 1 year after regular hand- and automatic- car washing. A bit overpriced though but the perfection always costs more :)

I expected better out come for this price didn't do much of an effect

After first wash white spots noted, not meeting expectations
