This was a perfect grill for my dinner. The size wasn't too big or too small. I put the stone in the oven first to get it heated evenly, then added it to the grill. I don't think you even have to do that because it was extremely responsive to turning the temp up or down. Using the little pans was easy and they seemed to heat evenly. This is a great grill for the price with the added bonus of interchangeable tops! can't wait to try the other ones

The grill plate is very prone to marks… The stone is perfect! Same goes for the raclette system (trust me, I’m French)!

We have had a raclette party with our new grill and it worked great! It heated up well and did all that was promised. What a fun dinner party! The cheese melted nicely in the bottom pans while a variety of meat, salmon and veggies cooked on top. The clean-up was a breeze. We took the griddle off the top and it’s easy to clean surface washed right off in the sink. What a great way to entertain a 4-8 group of people. We talked,ate and enjoyed each other’s company. The electric cord needed an extension cord to reach the wall plug. The price was very reasonable. The grill would cost three times as much in Europe.

The device weas okay. The built quality was cheap but it worked. We used it twice a year and this year it started to fade out. The image shows it would be adjustable in terms of temperature. We were only able to have it on or off. The blue light was either on or off. Recently it started just randomly to turn off and maybe turn on again after a while. Sadly we need to replace it since this will not get better. This is overpriced for what you get in my opinion. It did work until now.

We absolutely love this Raclette! I was a little sceptical about the granit plate and if it would heat up well and it great! We cooked small pieces of chicken and shrimps on it in no time - you should let it preheat about 20 minutes. It is easy to clean and definitely worth the money. Healthy and fun food for family night or getting together with friends.

This is my third raclette machine. My first one had one temperature, HOT! We used it for years and it always worked, but the grill top would smoke so we only used it outside. We eventually upgraded to a machine with a temperature control and larger capacity. It was okay, but it didn't get hot enough so you had to wait a long time for your cheese to melt. It was slow but usable I decided to replace it and bought the Artestia since the reviews were mostly positive. The grill has been such a disappointment. I know it's my fault for not returning it after the first failure, but since we only eat raclette with guests, months went by without thinking about it and suddenly I realized I couldn't return it. This machine has the same problem as my last (not enough heat) but it's worse. One end of the machine barely gets warm, so we can only use the other end. The "good" end takes a very long time to melt cheese and the top grill works like it's on a "keep warm" setting. Although I always turn it on well before eating, the top doesn't even sizzle when I add food. The best I can say about this is that the food eventually cooks. I have been having raclette parties for forty years, and even though my last machine was faulty, it was better than this one. I wrote to the company for advice and am still hoping I can fix it. If I ever get it working, I'll rewrite this review.

I've had this almost a year and finally brought it out for the Superbowl. It was a very small gathering, I didn't want to use it for company until I had a test run with it. We loved it! I read through the previous reviews to know what to expect and get tips and tricks. It worked wonderfully, but it's not going to cook a whole steak or chicken breast. I marinated and then cubed the meat into bite size pieces beforehand, and this worked great. Highly recommend for a conversation starter and to make gatherings easier for those hosting.
