Does this work with new google wifi mesh?

Yes. Beautifully. Just be sure it’s the Google Nest WiFi mesh, which is what we just got.

How does the wifi point mount to the bracket?

Don’t worry. It’s pretty simple and works wonderfully. Can’t remember exactly and don’t want to shut off the WiFi to check, but there are videos. The point snaps into the collar with the cord being pulled through to the back and wound up. It took two attempts, but the total process was less than 5 minutes. They have been plugged in for over a month with no problem.
