Great quality backup tail light
I like the quality of the wires and the obviously good waterproofing. Very thick silicone covering that I am pretty positive could withstand being submerged. I installed it on my KLR650 after seeing another review had put it on his KLR650 which convinced me this was the right one. The factory tail light is worrying me about whether other road users could see me when I brake. The instructions were nice and detailed and it was packaged nicer than a lot of things I get from Amazon. The double sided tape is thick and good quality. You absolutely must prep the surface prior to sticking it which will help it last and bond properly. The installation was very straightforward. When I hit the brakes, the brightness increases with the factory tail light and the brightness is great. Would buy again for sure if I needed to.

Good Product
I have purchased these several times over the last 2 years and found them to be perfect for my needs. Latest were installed in my 2023 Sierra Denali 1500 Grill, they fit in the grill slots perfect and wired them to an ignition fuse. Look great at night, but could be brighter.

Fits perfectly under the lens on the lid of a Givi V47 top box
Fits perfectly under the lens on the lid of a Givi V47 top box. The lens on the lid of the Givi V47 comes off easily and the 5" self-stick led strip fits great under the lens, it's just thin enough. I used a marine connector to connect the box to the bike wiring so the box can be removed. The lights aren't extremely bright but are very visible at night, even from 100 feet away. Works well and not too hard to install connecting to the bike wiring is the most time consuming depending on how much disassembly has to be done.
