Q: Hi, this rupes machine only runs at 110v, but Singapore runs at 230v. If i were to buy a step down transformer, does it works the same? Thank you.

Yes the Rupes machines that we sell are 110V but if you get he appropriate stepdown transformer, it will work.

Q: What is the year of manufacture of the product?

I purchased mine in 2018. However, when it was manufactured if beyond my purview.

Q: I gathered from another review this is a forced rotation DA is this correct?

You must have gotten some bad information or possibly you read a review about a different Rupes model. This IS NOT a forced rotation DA...This is a long throw orbital polisher that does not have a forced rotation or rotary motion to it. If you are interested in a forced rotation machine made by Rupes, the model is the LK900E.
