SENNELIER Extra-Soft French Half Pastel Seaside Professional Artist Box Set, 30-Colors

It was so exciting getting the Sennelier Soft Pastels from Amazon. As a beginner I had been recommended them for thier sheerness creamy like in texture. I wasnt disappointed! This drawing is a combination of pastels but predominantly the Sennelier. Thier softness allowed me to bring this image to life! I really think the set I got was value for money and play a huge part in my growing love of pastels!

Love my Sennelier pastels. I have use different pastels through out my pastel paintings . These are the ones I use towards the end . I . Need that soft buttery touch at the end. Cheap ones to start and the good stuff to finish . These are good the stuff. I have other favorites but not reviewing them. These blend well and the variety of colors are good. I organize my pastels by color so I remove them from the box they arrive in. I use Jackson pastel empty boxes . I have all my colors assorted from light to dark . I remove only what I plan to use . It doesn’t take long to organize . I save the box and or reuse the foam. I don’t like searching for colors when they are all mixed together. The price is fine. They are an expensive brand.

Excellent pastels. Arrived right on time and in perfect condition.

After buying the 30 count plein air set, I loved it but I needed another set immediately to enhance my color choices. I liked this option quite a bit. The other set gave me a nice selection of natural looking greens to work with. This set gave me a nice selection of blues to work with, and as a nice bonus, there were several light purple colors which are so handy for under painting but were not represented in the plein air set. This collection features as well rounded a color selection as one could wish for in a 30 count box for painting seascapes. All my pastels arrived intact. They are easy to paint with and easy to layer. The pigment is high quality, and the pastels produce slightly less dust than my student brand. If you need a basic but cost-effective step up, this is a decent brand to consider.

Beautiful colors, especially the blues and lavenders. Great price on these very soft pastels. I love the coverage and softness of Sennelier, but I can't go so far as to say "buttery". "Buttery" is going to cost you even a bit more, alas.

The colors are so beautiful and the consistency of the pastels is so soft, smooth and buttery. Sennelier pastels have been my all time favorite for my pastel works.

Die Pastellkreiden sind ganz weich und lassen sich schön in mehreren Schichten auftragen. Die leuchtenden Farben sind wirklich sehr schön.

I got the 30 pc Seaside Set. Excellent selection of colours - very versatile and appropriate for this subject. These pastels are soft and layer very nicely on the Strathmore Toned Gray paper I am using. I can get 3 - 5 layers, which is usually enough for my purposes.

Sennelier soft pastel 120 set whoa... beautiful set with rich and velvet soft demi pastel sticks , pure colour for serious pastel artist...must have and the seller did a awesome job of very good packaging non very broken....
