A bit expensive but well worth the buy when I can afford too. The package is reseal able so it stores well. I love the smell of the nori especially when it's toasted and added to a fresh salads. Its so easy to use in many recipes. Such was wraps, sushi rolls, and many more. I've never gotten any with bad quality or taste. I've been ordering from this company for many years.

Consistent quality
The quality of consistent. I have orders this product multiple time and have never had any detectable bits of shelfffiah or sea life other than plants in this product. I appreciate that it’s raw and vegan. I’m assuming that it is truly harvested in Japanese waters but the package says product of China so I am skeptical about exactly how clean it is.

I consume 2 to 6 sheets a day, every day. I've been eating raw, organic nori for years now. I crave it and I love it.It tastes really good with cold-pressed flax oil. The combination is very much like fish, since flax oil is high in the same kinds of fats as fish (to a certain extent) and nori tastes somewhat fishy to begin with.When you combine flax oil, nori and sea salt together with virtually anything else, it tastes amazing. My favorite wrap recipes:1 sheet nori stuffed with:1 tsp flax oil2 pinches sea salt1/4 avocado1 tsp fresh lemon juice2 handfuls spinach1/2 kale leaf, minced and mashed2 pinches garam masala or black pepper or paparikaFor simplicity you can just use olive oil, sea salt and spinach. I don't actually eat sushi, but you don't need to eat sushi to love nori!

What happened?
I’ve been using this exact brand of Nori for at least 20 years, probably much longer. It’s always been the same and imo, very yummy. But the bag i received in October 2025 is very different. The sheets are very thin, which could be ok, but it tastes very different, very bland. And worse, gives me a stomach ache. I have sensitive digestion but i don’t get immediate intense pain from eating. It’s too late to return, but i won’t eat it again and probably not order again either. It will make good compost. I hope someone from the company reads this.
