) These ended up being perfect and actually LOOKED pretty decent
I ended up loving these pants! We went to Tahoe for a week and I needed something for the snow (we aren’t cold weather people, so I didn’t really know what to look for or what exactly I needed!) These ended up being perfect and actually LOOKED pretty decent! (I didn’t want puffy, bulky snow pants). I originally wanted something that was closer to a fleece lined, waterproof, warm type legging. I was hopping these would tuck in to my boots....they didn’t. But they looked good enough that I still liked them. For the fit!!!: I’m 5”3 and about 190. I’m short and have a bit of ‘fluff’. I’ve got hips and a butt, but I mainly have a tummy. These fit well. They were tight across my hips and thighs, but in a comfortable way. NOW....if you are blessed with a flat stomach, these are gonna be ‘pouchy’ Around the waist and zipper area. If you’ve got a bit of a tummy and don’t want anything super tight or giving you a muffin top...these are perfect. The bottom leg part of the pants was more of a straight leg. I wore a pair of mid calf lace up Sorrel type boots and it would have looked funny if I had tried stuffing the pants in. The pants went over the boots easily and looks fine that way. I don’t think they would fit over snowboarding/ski boots though. Warmth: They were warmer than expected! I’m a huge baby when it comes to cold weather and I was pretty warm. I mean, it said ‘feels like 11 degrees’ on my weather app and we were just standing there in a ton of snow watching the kids ice skate....so I was gonna whine no matter what, but I didn’t whine about the pants!! I did wear a pair of thin fleece lined lights underneath, but I stayed warm and they stayed pretty water proof. I say yes to these pants if you want an alternative to puffy snow pants! Forgot to add that I’m a size 14 in jeans if that helps!

Great fit (even for tall skinny dude) but not even minimally water resistant
I'm 6'3", 160 pounds, very fit, with a true 35+ inch inseam. The Medium Long fit me GREAT. Nice trim cut. If you have thicker legs, they'll stretch, but if you're really thick, you may need to size up (or try the free soldier similar pant, which is nice, but cut much wider in the leg and butt). These thread the needle between sporty/outdoorsy and presentable enough that you wouldn't feel like a tool wearing them to a semi-decent restaurant. They feel great and should work down to the teens F if you're doing something active like fatbiking or snowshoeing. Colder than that (or less active) and you'll need to put another layer under them. Can't just longevity yet, but I will say the construction on these looks pretty robust and I think they look better made than the $100 Eddie Bauer guide pants (lined) I bought a couple months ago -- which I already had to bring to my sewing machine to repair a seam that was unraveling. I would trade the ankle zips for side pockets. The *only* thing I miss from my other similar pants is a nice trim pocket on the thigh like the Eddie Bauer Guide pants have. That's a perfect spot for phones. These have just regular crotch-flankers and a back pocket, none of which will be great for a phone. Those all zip, though, so small items will stay put. Finally, these aren't even minimally water resistant. Many pants in this category bead up and shed water for a while (though not too long, of course). These don't to that at all. They're hydrophilic, meaning they love water. Even a light spray (such as from washing hands) will soak right in. They are for colder temps and dry activities only.

Nice winter gear!
This style thick grey(08) fit perfectly and are nicely tailored looking. This style is not like the other styles of singbring offered here and they look more like trousers than outdoor gear, they have a slim fit and dont poof out around the butt, hips or front pockets. The seams appear good including the crotch seam that others have reported as a weak point. I just recieved them today so time will tell on seam strength...if any pop I will just sew them up. The zippers have also been reported to be a weak point, so far they all work. The fleece lining is not thick but is warm combined with the outer shell material. It is 0 Celsius today with a good breeze and they feel warm and do block the breeze. Tossed some snow around to test the water resistance and they kept me dry for the shoveling....that is what they needed to do and they pass plus they look really good doing it. I also got the thick green (05) style in the same size but the style is very different, more like outdoor hiking gear. They fit differently, a bit bigger, not as slim or tailored and they kind of poof out in the butt, hips and around the pockets...room for a layer underneath like longjohns. The fleece is the same and they are just as warm as the grey pair. The crotch seam is well done, I gave them the squat test multiple times and its holding. They are a bit stretchy but seem to snap back into shape. I like them too, I'm wearing them in the house (about 22 Celsius) and they are as warm and comfortable as sweatpants.

Nice material for good price!
They are nice pair of pants, I use them for cold days, and they are very confit. The material does not stretch at all, I wish they could do so. I like the trendy look, and they can be worn for a casual day. The elastic does not kills your back, it only has relaxed elastic on the back of the pants, not in the front. I am very pleased with this item. Excellent quality material, and they do not make a" gosh-gosh" Sound when you walk! I have the feeling that they will last for years to come. Nice set of pants. If you want them to fit relaxed ask for an extra size up, but they fit as I expected them. Good pants for the price, and I cannot find this item in regular stores, not even Bass Pro shop has them. The liner material keep me warm and keeps my knees and legas warm. I recommend it to anybody looking for comfort, trendiness and warmness. ;)
