The output is constant low-voltage 12V DC with a maximum power of 15W, and suitable for 12V DC led lights. For optimal performance and reliability, we recommend keeping the load power below 80% of the rated power.

Is this transformer compatible with dimmer?

This transformer is not dimmable and not compatible with any dimmable devices, including dimmable LED strips.

Do I need to purchase the wiring separately to connect the transformer?

Yes. This is a Class 2 transformer and does not require grounding. It has screw terminals on both sides but does not include wire. You will need to purchase the wiring separately. We recommend using wire with a gauge of 0.5–1.5 mm² (about 20–16 AWG).

Why this transformers are not compatible with my LED strip?

This transformer is specially designed for 12V DC low voltage LED lights. Before purchasing, please confirm that your LED light strip is 12V DC and the total power is within the 0-12W range(no more than 80% of maximum load).
