Wheels Manufacturing One Speed Conversion Set with 16T Cog, Black

I use this set on a Easton SS Wheel and it works perfect. They give you more than enough spacers and the SS Cog is very durable.

The kit is good. I wish it would have come with more than one cog, like perhaps also an 18 and a 17, but for the price the included 16 is good. It's just hard to guess at what gear ratio you need without trying it first. No problems with the product though. Works as designed. The many different spacers allowed me to set up the chain line perfectly.

The lock ring stripped after swapping the cog. I contacted Wheels Manufacture to see if I can purchase a replacement lock ring, and too my surprise you have to buy the entire kit. It would been great if it lasted longer and if they sold replacement parts.

I turned my multi speed rear wheel into a single speed with ease with this kit with all quality material, i do recommend this product!

I finally decided to go with a SS conversion for my Soma Juice and after looking around I feel this was the best looking one for the price. I wanted something simple with a good amount of spacers to adjust to my liking. This fits the bill. Only reason I put 4 stars is because the cog that comes with it, the teeth seems to be off because it would run smoothly half way then feel tight and stuck. Although I used an old 8 speed chain and it works fine. I think with a SS specific chain it would work. I got a niner cog and it works perfect with my old sram 9 speed chain.

This thing just works! It has all the spacers you need to get the chain lined up with your crank gear.

Yeah, it's OK. I can't figure out why these kits cost so much though. The kit consists of some spacers and a cog - about $9 worth of stuff on a good day. It works.

Spacers made it easy to set up that perfect chain line. Very easy to install, but an instruction booklet would have been nice for people who need a kickstart.
