I used these on a garage with an 8/12 pitch. I am 6'6" 275 lbs. and they had no issues keeping me on the roof. The construction is solid and they worked as expected.

These are not made very durable compared to some others that I purchased but needless to say they do work exactly as described. fast shipping.

I have used these professionally in the past and they are a wise investment. Having at least one plank on a roof is a wise idea. I am older now and like taking precautions. I gave them 4 stars for sturdiness because the ones I used in the past seemed more heavy duty. But these are certainly good for home builds. I'm just not sure how long they would last under constant use.

Got 5 of these to keep me from falling off the roof. I'm still here, they worked.

I have older shingles and the weather was cool, so I could not bend the shingles up enough to hammer in any of the nails needed. So I slid the tips up under part of a shingle above, and then nailed through the shigle where all the nail slots were exposed. When I was done I was able to get the 12 p nails out without much difficulty and I put a little squirt of roofing cement into the nail holes and used more roofing cement to hold a piece of metal flassing under the shingle with the holes to prevent any leakage. That worked great. I felt very safe working with these.

It’s always nice to have something to stand on when you are working on the roof , but this one was a bit soft then I would expected, it’s kinda nervous for me to stand on it
