Great Sensitivity
I have the 9.6...long...very long....But believe it or not it's great from the shore of the lakes...or rivers....Obviously this is not the rod to traps through the woods with. You will snap the tip off on the first branch. This is also not the rod for freeing your lure that's stuck on a rock. You over crank on this rod it will come apart at the joint. Thus the price for sensitivity. I can feel Trout kissing my lure or when the lure runs into weeds or a kisses a rock. Plus the added length gives you another 5ft or more casting. This is not the rod to cram into a car or hang out the window to catch a branch. This is a Ferrari so use it correctly you won't find anything that much better trust me. The tip is incredibly sensitive. The guides are excellent...
