They are very strong, adjustable in length and have multiple trips. What you need for trail running is beyond me.

My door frame is 6’6”. I adjusted the hiking poles to their maximum recommended extension. My hands are properly inserted in the wrist straps. You can see I have about a 90° angle at the elbow. Seems to me they should work for you at the maximum extension.
